Like many other reviewers, I’ve been buying these regularly for a while – it’s my fruit fix in non-fruit season. But the last time, the resealable thing was cheap and stopped working pretty quickly and then my apricots got moldy. Really bummed because I liked these a lot.

These apricots were great at first (I got them 19 times!)… Each bag has 10, or 15% that are so small and hard that they just weren’t worth trying to chew, so I saved then and cut them up to throw into the breakfast bars I bake. But the last couple of bags had way more of these small/hard ones. And the apricots were a very weird color. No, not weird as in not chemically treated to keep them very orange, like most commercially available apricots, but an odd grey/brown and almost all of them were very small and hard. But the worst part was they had a weird musky, almost fermented smell, like they were in storage too long. Rather then trying to return a food item I fed them to my chickens (and they had the same problem as me trying to eat these things).

Great taste and portion size. These are fantastic, not too sticky, and all pieces appear to be good quality.

I was buying these apricots at Target in a small bag for $5. Nowhere could I find a larger quantity. These are fresh and delicious. We prefer the organic, unsulfered kind much more than the processed dried apricots. The color was strange at first but that’s the way they’re supposed to be.I will be ordering repeatedly.
Update: we have purchased several bags of the 20 oz and while we originally had no problems, the latest bags have had increasingly more pits and some apricots are inedible because they taste like dirt.

I love these things! Every now and then one is a little rubbery, but sweet and soft. High in iron!!

I regularly bought these apricots for years in the large bag and they were great–moist, plump, delicious. The quality has gone way down hill. I have given several more bags a chance but there are way too many small hard pieces of fruit that simply are not edible. I finally chucked the remaining bag I had and won’t be buying again.

It’s a great snack! Always fresh and packaged in a resealable bag. Low calorie food with great health benefits. Always delivered on time and shipped damage free!

Good snack

I eat these dried apricots daily and have actually been purchasing and eating these for years. While I do occasionally end up with a bag with a lot of hard apricots, most of the time a majority of the apricots are very soft and easy to eat. I used to eat these only for a week every month to keep cramps down, but more recently I have been eating these every day as they make a good snack.

I am on a diet that does not allow processed sugar. These are the perfect snack. I’m afraid I love them too much. I have to limit myself or I’ll eat too many. The texture varies. Some are soft and almost moist inside. Others can be firm like fruit leather. Seems like the small ones are that way. On average, they are generally tender.
These are not the bright orange type that lack flavor and are somewhat sour. I never liked those. These are always sweet and are not sour or tangy at all.
Try them with almonds; so good.
