I have enjoyed using this to create content however the magnet doesn’t seem overly strong. When I go to remove my phone from the surface it was suction cupped to it comes off my phone and remains stuck to the surface instead.

I had originally bought a standard octobuddy that sticks to the back of your phone case and was very annoyed with it when I was taking my phone in and out of my pocket or when things in my purse would stick to it. I saw this MagSafe suction device and thought it would be the perfect solution to my problems, and it is! The other octobuddy I purchased had 24 little suctions and this one only has 19 so I was worried it wouldn’t work as good, but it seems to have just as much suction as my other one! I primarily use it suctioned to my mirror and I have not had any issues with it holding the weight of my phone. I will caution that when you go to take your phone off whatever you have it suctioned to you should take the phone off the MagSafe accessory first and then remove the suctions – I tried to unsuction it without removing the the phone the first time and the suction is so good that I had to really finagle it and my phone fell off the MagSafe accessory an fell to the ground (the case protected it from any harm though). I love the pretty pastel pink color and how well it matches my phone case too!

The magnet in the back is not strong enough. It slips off so easily . In your pocket , on a kitchen counter it gets stuck. Not good

The “MagSuction Cute Silicone Suction Cup Phone Mount for MagSafe” has been a mixed bag, earning the specious little mount a three-star rating. The design of this suction-cup mirror/smooth-surface MagSafe phone mount is simple but useful (ostensibly). However, the main drawback lies in the strength of the magnet—and, potentially, its suction cups—which is/are [both] not as robust as expected.
The magnet’s weakness results in the phone mount system easily falling out of place, diminishing the overall effectiveness of its very being. While the design is straightforward and could potentially solve a problem, the middling performance prevents it from being the clever problem-solver it has the potential to be with a few minor tweaks.
The $20 price tag is prohibitively high for the performance it delivers—and there is just not that much to [materially]. The listing also mentions a decline in suction from the suction cups after “2 hours,” which is a significant detraction for me and has implications for long-term functionality.
In conclusion, the MagSuction Cute Silicone Suction Cup Phone Mount has a useful design, but the weak magnet and suction issues limit overall effectiveness. With some improvements, it could be a clever solution, but IMO, it falls short of expectations. That said, if you want a pocket-able mirror mount to use for a few mins here and there, this mount might not be a bad shake. For me, the 3-Star rating reflects the product’s potential and its current limitations in providing a secure and reliable mounting solution.

I really like this. If you’re using it and making a video keep in mind the glass will make the video sound come out weird. But it’s so good! As long as your glass or window is clean you should be golden. I even stuck it to my shower so I could listen to music

The phone might be too heavy for this suction. The phone slid off the magsafe, but stayed attached to the surface I stuck it on.

I love this it works great. If I want to watch something on my phone when I’m getting ready in the bathroom I can just stick my phone to the bathroom mirror. It is easy to use. And easy to remove from the surface you put it on when you are done.

This is not meant to stay on your phone it’s just an accessory that you carry with you just fyi.

The suction cups only last 10-15 minutes on any given surface, even when there is no phone weighing it down or pulling it off.
