Manda Fine Meats (Boudin, 12oz)

As a native New Englander, I had no prior experience in the pure joy that is Boudin Sausage. I ordered these for a Cajun Smoked Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Recipe with Boudin Stuffing. Total hit with my family! Thanks for the quick delivery!

It arrived frozen and well packed. I was happy to see it being sold through Amazon, as I have been unable to fid it here in Arizona. I will definitely be reordering this boudin again from them.

Unfortunately, the first shipment they sent us arrived 27 days after ordering, so it was tossed this morning when we received it. However, the seller made good when the package did not arrive within a few days, and had already sent us and we received a good, still frozen package of Manda boudin. 2.25 lbs. is great for family events and the size of the links are just right for everyone to enjoy some boudin. The taste is great, not the best, but definitely a tasty boudin. The meat to rice ratio is balanced, and has some spice, but not too spicy, Overall, will purchase again, based on the amount of boudin you get for the price. We checked on purchasing direct from some boudin companies and they all want $100+ for two-day shipping to get to us here in Oregon from Louisiana, so being an Amazon Prime member we paid nothing in shipping, but do basically pay for it in the cost of the boudin. 2.25lbs of Manda boudin on their own website is only $20’ish dollars, so paying $20 more for shipping is well worth it compared to paying $100+ directly through their website.

The product was delivered via FedEx in a plastic bag with a cushion on one side and a thawed ice pack on the other. The boudin was warm, nowhere near frozen. Extremely disappointed, we had to throw it away.
