I roast my own beans and these beans are great. I also like the minimal and recyclable packaging, no plastic bags.

I’ve been roasting my own coffee for a while now. I’ve gotten green beans from many of the online retail (highly rated) companies out there and the Colombian supreme and Ethiopian in this sample pack might have been the best tasting out of all of the others I’ve roasted. Both roasts came out even and there were very few defected beans. Only down fall is that I cannot purchase 5lbs of just one of those regions , need to buy the “sample pack”

The coffee is actually good coffee. It is way overpriced as you can easily buy green coffee for 7 to 8 dollars a lb from many sellers. This would be a gift to someone as it is packaged nicely, or even for you if you do not mind paying lots of money for a coffee teaser. They do sell 4 lbs of these which is more cost-effective but still, a bit overpriced online. Just search for unroasted coffee. There is a lot of coffee out there. And there are also coffee roasters for around 100 dollars online that do time and temperature, plus fan speed. Overall the Brazil coffee was good. It wasn’t good until the second day after it degassed.
The first day after I roasted it, didn’t have much flavor. On the second day the Brazil coffee was way better. I’d say looks like fairly fresh beans they smelled good upon opening, and produce a decent cup of coffee. Very slightly sweet, with a lot of body and flavor. I roasted these not above 400 degrees, and 30 seconds after the first crack was completely over.

This is a fantastic sample pack for those just getting started in the roasting world! The taste really isn’t that great for any of them, but with enough time and effort, you can get some decent coffee out of each sample bag! Once you get the ins and outs of roasting down, I definitely recommend spending a little more money on some higher quality beans! All in all though. NOT BAD!

Our first attempt and home roasting and this set turned out be a fantastic choice. Wife has made several batchs just using a hot air popper as she learns the craft. Its been stunningly good coffee and we are very, very happy with the results.

My son is an amateur, hobby coffee guru. He roasts his own beans. I seen this as a perfect gift 🎁 to him. He loved it and raved at the ease these beans were to roast. Then I’m still hearing how well it taste, he loved best the Costa Rica. But then he said the Tanzania was a unique bean and was wonderful. Think I’m hearing a hint for another gift….

just bought a Fresh Roast SR800 and decided to give these beans a test drive. Great Variety. Each bag has a description of where it was made and the elevation and other descriptions. I Thought the Ethiopia would be the best but NO, the Guatemala and Colombia were the best in flavor! Each bag has a different flavor after roasting and they do crack! Would recommend this to anyone trying to roast beans for the first time. going to buy this again to see if the lots are going to be the same.

I was excited about trying the Ethiopian beans. Box came with Colombian, Guatemalan, Honduran, and Tanzanian. The beans, themselves, are great. Just didn’t get what I thought I ordered.

This green bean sampler is perfect for all who want to try coffees from different regions/countries without having to purchase a large amount of an unknown. But a product is only as good as the support that a company provides to its customers … and in this instance that support was truly OUTSTANDING (please forgive the caps, but this is exactly the quality of the support which I received when I had a question that had to be resolved). So there are really two “highly recommends” in this review: the product itself, and the support you can expect, if you ever need to contact the company.

I decided that I wanted to give roasting my own beans a try. This is the perfect starter kit. Very fast shipping and great product.
