Great & the best flavor in coffee but you have to use double the amount to make creamer bc very thin so it’s gets expensive

This review is for the unsweetened version.
I quite like this macadamia nut milk. Maybe three years ago, I gave up all dairy and eggs for a bit over a year because I’m not comfortable with how animals are treated in factory farms. During that period, I used soy and almond milks, but I ended up going back to milk (trying to find the most humane brands offered in my area) because I just didn’t feel good physically. A couple of years later, I’m now suspecting that I’ve developed a lactose intolerance as I’ve gotten older, so I started looking for alternatives and found this.
When I use this on cereal, I really don’t notice a difference between it and milk. I think it’s great on cereal. Yes, it definitely tastes different than milk, but the cereal masks that for me. When drinking it straight, I think it’s at least as good as soy or almond milk…which means that I don’t think it’s awesome, but it’s not bad at all.
The containers are very convenient. You don’t need to refrigerate this until you open one, although I do keep mine in the refrigerator so that they’re already cold when I want to open a new one.
No question, I wish that the price was lower. At the moment, it’s a bit more than twice as expensive as the milk that I was buying, which is already over twice as expensive as regular milk…so, this stuff isn’t cheap. But, I like the taste on cereal and I feel fine after having it.

Arrives in good condition and on time each time I have ordered this item for my sister. She can’t drink regular milk and likes this very much.

I have trouble digesting milk easily, so have been looking for a non-dairy drink that I would like in my tea, coffee, cereal, or just to drink by itself. I’ve tried all the alternatives such as almond, oat, coconut, and rice drinks. But was not particularly fond of any of them. Then I heard about macadamia “milk.” It’s not easy to find in local stores, and also not inexpensive. I found this on Amazon and took a chance, so bought the 6 pack of the plain original unsweetened Barista style. And it’s good!! I like to froth my milk for my coffee, and this froths beautifully, and holds its froth. It has a much creamier consistency than any of the other alternatives I’ve tried. I’ve even had it by itself and it’s fine. There isn’t any unpleasant taste or aftertaste to it. recently reordered and made the mistake of ordering the same brand but one that is “lightly sweetened” with cane sugar. The carbs per serving is low enough that I’ve decided to keep it, since I take my coffee and tea sweetened. I may never buy any other type of “creamer” again; I like this that much! If you’re looking for a good milk or non-dairy alternative, give this a try.
UPDATE: I just double checked my order and I did not order the sweetened by mistake; it was sent to me by mistake. Just used the sweetened for the first time. By itself, it has a really nice, very lightly sweetened taste. However, it is not as creamy as the Original plain I first ordered, and though it did froth, the Original froths better and holds its froth better. Since I’ve already opened one of the Sweetened cartons, I won’t try to return the other 5 that came in the pack. But next order I will return if sent what I didn’t order. Over all, this is still a very good milk alternative and, imo, better than any other milk alternatives I’ve tried. .

I don’t have any issues with dairy or lactose but wanted to switch to milk that had a longer shelf life. I also follow a low-carb diet and wanted to find milk that contained fewer carbs. About the only milk I use is for cereal in the mornings. I live on the Calif. coast and the water supply here is a constant issue. Almonds are one of the most water-demanding nuts to grow here so I wanted to try and find a nut milk that was more sustainable. After doing some research, I found that Macadamia Milk is at the top of the list for that, so I gave this a try when I saw it for sale at one of the big box stores. I use the Unsweetened version and love the taste, sustainability, low carbs, and long shelf life. The big box store that had carried it when I first tried it no longer does so I rely on Amazon to ship it to me (typically via Subscribe & Save) for a good price as compared to grocery stores.

First time trying out mac milk. Thought I’d like it. Maybe I’m supposed to add something to it…plain is a no go for me. Will try to add fruit or workout powder. Hope it helps. Seems good quality though
Precise Disarray –
I eat what I eat and drink what I drink because I love food. I’m not vegan, keto, or anything but an inspired eater. I enjoy nut milks for drinking, baking, having over cereal, and for smoothies. Not a fan of most of them for coffee as it always lends an odd flavor. For that I stick to heavy cream, half and half, oat milk, or go black. I make an exception for their Milkadamia Macadamia and Coconut creamer. And so being pleased enough with that, I decided to try this UNSWEETENED macadamia shelf stable (until opened) milk.
This has a decent flavor, though I pick up on a vanilla taste that shouldnt be there. I could not use this in applications that I dont want any added flavor. So I will be using this for smoothies, which is fine as it was my main reason for getting it. I buy cartons of non dairy milk, but I like keeping the shelf stable boxes well stacked in my pantry because I dont want a lot of cartons taking up space in my fridge. I am not the type to go to the store every day, let alone every week, so I keep a balance of fridge items and shelf items.
For whatever reason, they do not include a picture of the nutritional profile. Lots of other pictures of the container, but not a single on of the important information??????!! Why?
Another thing? ingredient list is off.
The calories per 8 ounce serving is 40, not 50.
There are 4 servings per container.
Do not freeze
Refrigerate after opening (use within 7-10 days)
INGREDIENTS (for unsweetened option):
macadamia milk (filtered water, macadamias), calcium phosphate, natural flavors, pea protein, sunflower lecithin, locust bean gum, sea salt, gellan gum, D2
I would consider this again depending on the price. The unsweetened is currently $11.96 for a pack of 6, which is quite reasonable for about $2 per carton. I keep an eye out for sales, and never buy at full price.

This order of six containers is at a very reasonable price at Amazon, easily stored in my pantry and kept in the refrigerator after opened. It is, however, at its best quality if used within the stated 7 to 10 days, but still good and usable longer than that time if kept cold in the refrigerator. I like it in my coffee and for other uses instead of regular milk. because I tend to be lactose intolerant. This product is made from non-gmo, raw, never-roasted macadamia nuts. I would prefer organic, as I do for all my foods, but this Macadamia milk is quite good and versatile as a healthful alternative for all uses needing or good with milk.

This milk is by far the most tasty.
