I have had a metal filter for years and it does its job ok, however this one is a class above. I love the touch and feel of porcelain. But I can’t say that it makes coffee taste better than the metallic one. It is just nicer and it pairs well with a bone china coffee cup.
It is easy to clean but one thing for sure is you must handle it with care because it would break if dropped.

I am very satisfied with Minh Long’s ceramic coffee filter products. I used many Minh Long products while in Vietnam and loved them because of the quality and sophistication of the products. I am using Minh Long’s ceramic coffee filter every day. It’s great.

I’ve always enjoyed coffee and have many different makers, but my go to are the Vietnamese slow drip or shots from my espresso machine. For Vietnamese slow drip, I’ve always used a steel one but been wanting porcelain to make it as non toxic and natural as possible. Saw these from Minh Long porcelain sets and purchased a few for myself and family members. We all enjoy using it, works great and makes great tasting strong aromatic coffee. Just have to be careful handling and washing these compared to the steel ones so just a heads up to all the butterfingers out there. Very happy with this slow drip filter set.

This is probably the best Cafe Phin I’ve came across. Have used the traditional stainless steel for decades like most have. They stepped up the game with the porcelain. Wish they made larger or XL sizes and thicker all around. Maybe in the future.. thanks producing a wonderful product.
