I got both the mild and spicy. Both lived up to their description. The jar is not full, I’m certain that’s to leave room to stir. I like to try new things like this on a potato so that I can really know the taste. I really like both. I think the mild would be good with a fish that’s not strong flavored. The spicy will stand up to halibut or even tuna. Either would be good with chicken or with noodles. I think I will try the spicy with some peanut noodles for dinner (yum).

I bought Mr. Bing Chili Crisp ($11.99) as a cheaper alternative to Hot Crispy Oil ($14.99). I was swayed by the endorsement of one of my favorite chef’s, Jet Tila. I’m sad to say that it did not live up to my expectations. Compared to Hot Crispy Oil, which has large pieces of garlic and shallots, Mr. Bing is more like minced garlic. The first time I ever had crispy chili oil, it was also minced but I still loved it and it began my journey to finding the best crispy chili oil. Unfortunately, Mr. Bing’s dominant taste is salt and does not have the depth of flavor of the other crispy chili oils I have tried, hence the 3 stars for flavor and the 2 stars for value for the money. I did appreciate that my jar was plastic instead of glass as I saw lots of reviews where the glass jars broke in transit.

This product came highly recommended on the Internet so I thought I would try it. Pleased to find it in a mild flavor. It’s just right. Tasty with just a little heat. Really like & will purchase again.

I’ve bought Chili Crisps before that were so spicy hot that I couldn’t really enjoy the taste. This one is absolutely perfect! The amount of oil, the crispiness and the amount of heat is spot on. This would be great for those who would like to try Chili Crisp but are hesitant because of the spiciness. I have an extremely sensitive stomach and this doesn’t bother me at all. I put it in everything! Mashed potatoes, potato salad, ramen, soup, instant butter tasting grits, it ups the taste of anything I put it in. This is just a great condiment to have on hand to add a little bit of spice with a much milder amount of heat.

Excuse any typos as my eyes are tearing so much I can hardly see the keyboard! LOL! It’s HOT! I like heat in things and regularly use sriracha sauce. My husband, however, prefers less heat, so I purposely purchased the mild. The flavor is good. Yes, the jar is not completely full, but given the “stir it, scoop it, Bing it” on the label, I’m guessing they allowed extra room for the stirring. Nonetheless, beware that while it does pack a bundle of flavor, it is also far beyond mild!

Great addition to Asian cooking! Brings the heat without the burn. Flavorful and lasts a long time. Just be certain to keep it in a second container as the oils drips stain.

It’s packed with so much flavor! Not really spicy which is fine with me. I can put it in my family meals and my little ones won’t complain of spiciness. I add this to marinades, ramen, rice, eggs, the list goes on. My oldest and I used it so much, it was gone in like 2 weeks. So I bought another one.

This is called MILD and it holds up to that description. The jar has a *spice meter* on the side of 1 out of 5. It does have a bit of heat but not so much that your lips or mouth burn nor did I experience any unpleasant heat reactions such as my eyeballs sweating 😅! I used to like hot spiciness but can’t take it anymore so I am very happy with this purchase. It is very flavorful, crunchy and addictive 😂. I put some on fried chicken wings (unseasoned and not breaded), on havarti cheese on pita crisps, and absolutely loved it! Then got brave and drizzled some on a bowl of immi noodles with duck meat and broccolini and OMG soooo tasty!!
Even if you’re not into heat, give this stuff a try, I promise you will not cry!!🥵

I ordered some of my favorite ramen the other day, ordered this chili crisp to go with it. I made some two nights ago and threw this on top. The last 24 hours have been absolute terror on my stomach. It first started with sour burps, no acid reflux, just some good old fashioned stank. From there, the races were on, I was getting sweat inducing stomach cramps, for the next 12 hours it was purely gas, the last 12 hours have been the living embodiment of an exorcism. I would not recommend this product, I have thrown mine out. It was flavorless, scentless, chili crisp, and the spice level it added was irrelevant in measure. If you want one of the best abdominal cleansings you’ll ever have, try this.
