First time trying mulberries of any kind so I have nothing else to reference but these taste very good! They kind of taste like granola and are great for a healthy snack

There unfortunately is so much inconsistency with this product. Sometimes they’re fresh. D elicious and just well worth the cost. Other times they’re hard as rocks and just off tasting. This is a definite hit or miss product and something I’d strongly advise to purchase with caution.

I am actually impressed. Not a brand I am familiar with. But I really do enjoy the flavor more than what I purchase at the local health food store and the cost is easier on my budget.

6 Health Benefits of Mulberries
by Dr. Edward Group DC, NP, DACBN, DCBCN, DABFM
1. Source of Antioxidants
Antioxidants help lessen the damage caused by free radicals and the entire mulberry plant- leaves, stems, and fruit, contains antioxidants. [1] [2] One antioxidant in particular, resveratrol, has gotten much attention. Research published by the University of Texas Health Science Center credits resveratrol for positive effects on age and longevity. [3]
2. Immune System Support
Mulberries contain alkaloids that activate macrophages. Macrophages are white blood cells that stimulate the immune system, putting it on high active alert against health threats. [4]
3. Supports Healthy Blood Sugar
More formal research is appropriate, but mulberry is thought to contain compounds that support balanced blood sugar levels. [5] Traditional medicine in China, Trinidad and Tobago have all used mulberry leaves to promote balanced blood sugar levels. [6] [7]
4. Healthy Food!
Dried mulberries are a great source of protein, vitamin C and K, fiber, and iron. Best of all, they’re available in health food stores everywhere! Enjoy them as a great snack all by themselves or add them to your favorite trail mix. If you live in a warm climate and are lucky enough to have mulberry trees nearby, you can enjoy the fruit fresh off the tree. Not as tasty as the fruit, even the leaves contain protein, fiber, and nutrients! [8]
5. Resists Redness
Practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine have used mulberry as a remedy for swelling and redness. [9] A recent Romanian study discovered that a curcumin and mulberry leaf combination may be a new lead into natural remedies for this sort of irritation. [10]
6. Brain Protection?
Do mulberries offer anything to the brain? Researchers at Khon Kaen University in Thailand set out to answer that question by evaluating the effect of mulberry on male rats with memory impairment and brain damage. Although further investigation is required before mulberries can be declared a cognitive enhancer and neuroprotectant, rats that consumed mulberries had better memories and less oxidative stress

Last time I got Navitas was about 9-10 months ago. That batch was way better. The batch doesn’t taste anywhere as good, and all the berries look bruised and messed up. No idea what happened to this brand

I actually expected this a bit of sour and sweet, but this tastes just sweet and chewy.
Goji berries taste a bit sour and sweet if you want some sourness to balance with the sweetness taste in my opinions.
Since this is claimed to be ‘superfood’ I would be happy to add a little on top of my oatmeal with some granola for wholesome goodness in the morning.
Pieces look a bit smaller than pictures but again with the price and it’s organic, I am happy with my purchase.
***UPDATE*** this is very good on top of oatmeal. Very tasty.

Kids love it, just wish it was a bit softer. Have tried from a bulk herbal site and was cheaper and softer/chewier. But good option to get from Amazon and it’s clean

I love their mulberries. I first got them to add variety to my fruit selection. But, I got hooked because of the nutrition, and taste. It’s concentrated sweetness, nutrition, and a bit of tough texture allows me to just have a few, and get going with my day. I am a big eater, so something non-substantial like cookies, donuts, etc., just won’t do anything for me. And, apples and bananas are kind of hard to start and finish while you are running around with important documents, and what not.
Also, I add 3 to 5 to my smoothie when I want extra sweetness that day. I add wheatgrass, spirulina, and other non-fruity things in there, so sometimes, mulberries are the very thing I need to get that smoothie down with a huge smile. 😉
I choose Navitas because I tried a few others before, and Navitas had the best quality consistently. They are not inexpensive, so I choose reliability.
If I were to say one thing that I don’t like is their new bag… It opens kind of from the front. I like the older version. It was simple and easier to me. But, I can deal.
The packaging was great. Arrived on time. 🙂
