got these for the wife and she approves

These prunes are very sweet and moist. So moist in fact that your hands tend to get sticky when reaching in the bag. A very good product.

Can’t go wrong with price and taste if your diet includes prunes.

I but these by the case for my husband; they are always fresh. Newman’s Own is a great company.

Tried many organic prunes. This is consistently the best. Great taste and texture.

Paul Newman sold this company. The new product has the right taste and flavor..but the bags seem to be really mashed down. If you try to take one or two runs out..you end up with another 4 stuck to your fingers and hands. Almost to the point of disgusting. That is annoying..but I like prunes so I put up with it. That is a REAL noticeable difference between the OLD product and the new.

Make sure you’re near a sink. And have a toothbrush handy. You’re going to need to wash up with soap and water and brush your teeth immediately after contact with these prunes. They are the slimiest, goopiest, messiest prunes I’ve ever eaten. They’re so sticky and messy that the bag is sometimes hard to reopen after I’ve zipped it closed, because the slime from the prunes acts like glue. I was so surprised by the texture of these prunes that I read the back of the package to see if there’s something different about how they’re processed. Sure enough, the writing on the back promotes their "unique drying process that locks in moisture." Ugh. I really wanted to like these because I prefer organic whenever I can find it, but never again. I’ll go back to Whole Foods for my organic prunes.
