It’s okay. Their marketing apparently works. The coffee isn’t really exciting. More one note than anything. Will not continue to buy.

The coffee tastes bold but flavorful. It was just what I wanted.

I ordered a bag of the Hanoi blend last month, and I experienced a strong overtone of mildew in the brewed coffee.
(I make coffee daily so I know the mildew taste didn’t come from my equipment.)
I overwhelmed the mildew taste with sweetener — I am a frugal Yankee and refuse to throw product away — and I placed another order (assuming the mildew was a one-time problem).
After all, most roasting is done in the US from beans sourced overseas.
This second bag of Hanoi blend has the very same taste of mildew.
Obviously, overtone of mildew is a FEATURE of this blend, but this is the last bag i will buy.

This coffee is lighter roast than I am used to with dark roast coffee. It looks light brown, instead of dark brown and has a less burnt flavor. I like the caffeine kick that it has after drinking arabica coffee for several years. This coffee makes a lighter drink and is great with a shot of vanilla syrup.

I was pleasantly surprised at the rich flavor of this product but my shelves are full of bags of coffee. I bought this coffee for the actual bag to use in an art piece. I have traditional Vietnamese hats. One will be filled with pictures of the war, the horror, the atrocities. The other filled with pictures of modern Vietnam. The bag will be there juxtaposing the irony of going from the slaughter of war 50 years ago to buying their coffee.

It was good. Probably will buy the beans to see if there’s a flavor difference depending on the grind. It is a good flavor difference if you’re used to tasting arabica. Not bad.
I Am Me –
This is really good. I highly recommend anyone to buy and his other blends.

The coffee itself is good, however it cannot be used in the Phin Drip Coffee as the grind is like powder. It plugs up the holes. I had quite a mess. I will order the Hanoi blend but I will make sure I get the beans!

I have been ordering Nguyen Coffee for a couple of years now and love it! The depth of flavor and quality of the beans make this my top choice for coffee. I was so excited to find this coffee in Whole Foods and the later on Amazon. I will probably order on both their actual website and on Amazon depending on how urgently I need the coffee, but love that they’re expanding!

It has this weird sour after taste. I dont think this is truly from Vietnam. The taste is way different from the Vietnamese coffee i’ve had.
