This jerky is sooo good. It is a bit pricey, but very good. Also, you only get a handful. That really bothers me that you give such a small amount, but you want me to pay so much for it. I may have to start making my own, it’s very easy, but I prefer someone make it for me.

This is some of the best vegan jerky ice ever had. It is so absolutely delicious. It’s just a huge shame that it comes with such a small amount for the price. I could eat 4 bags of this in one small sitting easily.

There is just this flavor I can’t pin (it’s in some other brands of vegan jerky as well) that is in all the noble jerky varieties that is really artificial tasting and verrrrry unpleasant. It also has the classic vegan jerky gumminess that is a major no for me. I’ve been on the hunt for something that would really satisfy my jerky cravings and I’d recommend first and foremost “pleather jerky” – the name is admittedly not the best, but I’m telling you, I’ve tried several vegan jerkies and pleather is ahhh-mazing; nothing else comes close to that true, high grade, small batch leathery jerky I’ve missed so much (buying from their website is cheaper and there are further discounts if you buy in bulk), next up would be pan’s mushroom jerky, it has a very meaty, satisfying chew that’s more reminiscent of jack links “beef steak” jerky bars than thin, leathery jerky, with a delicious flavor (their original and pepper varieties are my fave), then lastly would be gardein jerky, this is similar in texture to that name brand bag of jerky you find at the local grocery, a little meaty, a little rubbery, and a hint too sweet for me, but still pretty darn tasty.

This is my new favorite vegetarian jerky. It’s as close to the real thing as I have found, and I’ve tried them all. This flavor is sticky and sweet and delicious. Other flavors are more dry and savory if you prefer that. Love this jerky!

Let’s get to the point the flavor! It’s sweet with a foreign after taste. I have a universal taste. Again couldn’t tell you what taste it is. I guess it’s the hickory. But one thing is on point is the texture. It’s much closer to the real thing. I like that about it. But it’s a bit sticky and jerky is suppose to be dry. Granted it’s processed. If your into weird tastes you might actually like this. But if you’re like me and looking for more traditional jerky but plant based. Try a different flavor. Maybe I will acquire the taste but I’ll chance it again with them if I come across other flavors. Cause I did enjoy the texture but not the flavor so much.

This stuff is insanely good. I’ve eaten a ton of vegan jerky over the past 7 years and I think this is the best I’ve ever had. From texture to taste to price – I’m super impressed. Can’t wait to try the other flavors!
