1. The texture was perfect for snacking and for adding to my breakfast granola.
2. The slices of the bananas are a perfect size, not too big or too small.
3. Freeze drying; instead of dehydrating, keeps the slices crisp-tender.
4. The bananas stay fresh in their #10 container topped with their plastic lid in a cupboard or a freezer.
5. The bananas taste great, not too sweet, not too tart.

I first purchased these and LOVED them enough to repurchase. However, the second box was stale, which is strange because they’re sealed and supposed to last 25 years.
I stopped eating them because I disliked the texture, thinking I was just overthinking it. Then, my husband tried the second box, and said they were stale too without even knowing that’s what I was thinking. Confirming there’s something wrong with this second batch.
They’re not cheap, and it’s food, so of course I can’t return. Such a bummer!!

It makes more sense to go on their website and wait for a price drop and buy in bulk. But the taste and quality are always great. I don’t like the fact that you can’t return them on Amazon. This is supposed to be a 25 year product and Nutristore has a habit of sending out badly dented cans when shipping through third parties like Amazon. By not allowing us to return the items, we basically get stuck with whatever they send,and a dented can means you have to eat it now. It is not usable for 25 year storage as intended. Fortunately, the can I received was pristine, but that is not always the case. So I only buy on Amazon when there is a good sale and I intend to eat the product now.

I was pleasantly surprised by how full this was. I was expecting a lot of settlement and broken prices as that’s what I’ve gotten from other products. This was full to the brim.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this product, it may seem silly to some. My son has limited foods he’ll eat due to his disability. I was spending a fortune on these in store so I figured I’d find some in bulk. He likes these and I won’t have to buy any for a little while. These are cut a bit thicker than the store bought ones but that’s actually better to keep them from breaking and creating the settlement along with just a crushed product.

These were fantastic previously. This batch- not so much. They are more the taste of half dehydrated, then freeze dried the rest of the way. Not saying this is what happened- but the pieces are smaller and thinner- crispy.
The other freeze dried ones were bigger, softer, with the freeze dried crunch.
Bring back the way they were.

Bought these because I love bananas and don’t care for dehydrated bananas. These are fantastic and don’t have any added ingredients.
