From 0-100% charge takes 8-10 full hours. Plus if you’re using it while charging it just hovers at whatever percentage it’s currently at until you turn it off. Other than that though, good 1440p screen, sucky speaker and hard to hear phone calls, 90hz, repsonsive enough to be usable but lags really badly on apps like tiktok.

I really have not ever heard of NUU until earlier in 2023…..but when I got this NUU B-15 smartphone, I knew it was really just a basic smartphone that looks really good with a lot of features, but I was a bit surprised on how well this NUU phone has been working so far….with 3 minor issues only so far.
1. Wifi signal drops fast for me when I am just 1 foot outside my house, wifi was hard for this phone to keep.
2. Hard to find a case for this phone
3. Side-mounted fingerprint reader [if you use that on this phone] sometimes does not work
Photo quality is good during daytime & early evening and that surprised me.
Call quality is good. Video quality is okay.
It’s a 4G smartphone and works well enough for me.
Battery life is really good and even when I play basic to medium games on this NUU smartphone, it lasts most of a day easily.
I can easily play low to medium demand games on this NUU phone quite well and it does not heat up.
Screen size is 6.78″ & has 4 GB RAM. It has double sim card slots & 1 micro SD slot for additional storage of apps, photos, videos, etc. 90 hz screen refresh is fine for this phone. Apps seems to move and screen slides pretty good….mostly due to the 90 hz screen refresh rate. Overall, if you need a basic smartphone, that looks great, does a fine job with photos & videos & phone call quality are quite good & I will not or cannot really afford those $$$ Apple or high end Samsung smartphones…..get this NUU B-15 smartphone and overall, you should be just fine with this smartphone.
Overall, I’d rate this 4 of 5 stars…..due to the few (3) rather minor issues with this smartphone.

Honesty, I don’t know if it was the batch of phones I got or what, but I purchased this phone twice and experienced the exact same issue with Bluetooth audio– something I use every day. I searched several Android forums but didn’t see anything for this specific phone. The issue is that Bluetooth audio is incredibly choppy no matter which Bluetooth device you connect to the phone. I tried at least 4 different devices and got the same result. To ensure it wasn’t just me, I tried the same 4 devices on other phones and had no issues at all. So the phone is just unusable for me. Even reached out to the manufacturer via live chat on their site, but wasn’t able to get a clear answer or resolution to the issue I experienced.
All of the other specs– 5G, decent camera, decent screen, headphone jack, expandable storage, etc. are as advertised and great for the price. This phone punches above its class and easily could be sold for twice as much. Really wanted to keep the phone, but couldn’t due to the Bluetooth issue.
Still giving it 4 stars because it could be an issue only I experienced for some reason.

Phone worked fine for about a month, then it refused to charge unless you tied the damn thing up with the charger at a thirteen degree angle to the southwest and did a rain dance. I wanna say good for the price but the battery lasts for 15 minutes and that’s a pain when, you know, the damn thing won’t charge. Guess you get what you pay for. Surprised I made it through typing this without running out of battery. Save your money, buy something else.

I was looking for a good inexpensive phone that would work with AT&T!! Found it! Love it!! So thankful for it. I have to have it for my job to clock in and out! Perfect size. Tons of memory!! Just what I needed!!

Its a really good phone, Ive had mine for about 5-6 months now. I kinda burnt it up though playing games on it for hours on end.. just dont let it get hot (which takes forever for it actually get hot like that, i just overdid it, to be honest.) once it starts heating up it starts lagging really bad and the touch screen calibration is completely off, itll start jumping around on the screen and clicking on stuff you didnt touch, so i have to restart the phone every now and then, but like i said, its literally my fault because I ran it too hard. thats the truth.

Longtime apple, Samsung and Motorola user. Loved the value of the Motorola phones until I bought the moto g 2021. Wow what a terrible phone. The moto zoom was great. But it was a budget phone and it showed. So I decided to buy the NUU B15 on a total gamble to replace the horrifically slow Moto G
All I can say is wow. Contacts and apps transfered over in minutes. Up and running in less than 10 minutes. Works as if I never switched phones. This thing is amazing. Resolution, pictures, speed and solid android performance. Did I say this thing takes amazing pictures? Well, it takes better pictures than any phone I’ve ever had. Hands down!
I will be sticking with this brand from now on. How can you beat this phone for the price?
Thank you NUU for making a great product.
UPDATE: One quick update, though the phone takes great photos, after a software update all photos are now watermarked with “shot on NUU B15” in the lower left of every photo. So far, I have not been able to remove this photo marking within settings. I have contacted the seller and will wait to see what they say. If this is not removable, this review will have to be dropped to 1 star.
One more UPDATE: wish I could move this review to 6 stars. Branding icon in camera removed. Seller responded to question within a few hours through Amazon. Problem solved. There is a settings icon on the upper left corner of the camera and selection unchecked for branding photos. Problem solved. Back to using my new favorite phone. Thanks again NUU.

UPDATE
I had to order another B20 due to the charger port came out in less than 5 weeks.
Pros
I see the price has dropped down dramatically for this B20 phone and I see why (see Cons).
Cons
1. You can’t have get any parts for this B20 phone to be replaced for any work or replacement on it. NUU is the only place you can get it repaired at and it has to be shipped back to them for any repair.
2. The B20 doesn’t support wireless charging pads (I had a bad charger port that fell out).
3. Now the camera on the B20 sometimes has the problem of switching back from the front camera (selfie) to the rear camera for apps like Google Meet, Marco Polo, etc…., it kept getting “stuck” on the rear camera. I had to cut the phone off for 20 minutes and cut it back on for front camera to comeback.

It took a few days to resolve issues I had. I bought this as a gift. I’m still accessing the phone.
Pros
1. Bigger than the free Samsung S23 most carriers are offering.
2. NUU B20 being new is an affordable price ( I got sticker shock on other phones: especially “refurbished” phones wanting to much money I didn’t want to buy a used phone).
3. It had the features the person wanted and color.
4. It came with a Standard charger Plug (it would have been nice to have an 18W quick Charger Plug USB-C Input, their cords are USB-C male to USB-C male) most Samsung phones now don’t come with a charger plug.
5. It has the slot to add a memory card to phone.
6. It came with a screen protector with the phone but it was “cracked” in several places like someone else said. Maybe ship with stronger screen protector included.
Cons
1. It says “unlocked” I put in the old SIM card into the B20 and I got partial calls and Texts. Per the carrier T-Mobile they said this phone was “NOT UNLOCKED”. I had to go in and get another SIM card from T-Mobile.
2. The USB-C cord that came with the phone was “extremely tight” to fit into phone. It was so difficult that I didn’t try to force the provided NUU B20 cord in. I got some other USB-C cords I had and used one of them that “fit looser, not so hard” to fit into the phone, I believe “if it don’t fit don’t force it”. I would have liked a 18W quick charger plug but I’ll get one later to give the gift person.
3. The headphone jack at the bottom of the phone, the description says “3.5” input jack, I’ve tried several headphones with a “3.5” male plug and they would stop have halfway, those that had a microphone to speak into the phone, the earphones with no microphone fit but who wants earphones without a mic to talk with so again I didn’t force the cord in, I’ll have to tell the gift person they may need to use a Bluetooth earpiece.
4. NO SCREEN MIRRORING on phone at all ( like Smartview or Miracast or Screen mirroring or Screen Cast). Nothing to project photos and videos from phone to TV or a Firestick, I’m not getting a Chromecast dongle. It will Mirror to a google cast device like Chromecast or Google Nest but I don’t have those just a flatscreen and a Firestick. If this phone had mirroring capabilities I would have given it another star. The gift person’s old phone could do Mirroring.
5. Phone is having a problem with Google Meet app with it staying on to receive aka Meet or old DUO calls. I have to remember to tap Meet on phone. I’ll contact Google support on this, other apps works fine.
6. I had to get some USB-C adapter plugs to transfer over old data from one phone to the other. I’ll probably will use the app SmartSwitch from playstore next time.

I bought this phone sort of as a punishment because I dropped my pixel 6a and damaged the screen. I really did not expect much from this phone. The reviews were mixed. I have found the phone pretty good so far. I had no problems transferring all my apps to this phone. More importantly, the phone is very fluid and does not lag at all. Do keep in mind that I am not a gamer, but I do keep a number of windows open and swing trade stocks during the day. This phone is surprisingly a pleasure to use. The display is not great, not as good as the Pixel 6a or One Plus N20, but it is better than my Motorola 720P display. I am using this on AT&T and the speeds are just as fast as what I get on my Pixel 6a when Wifi is being used or LTE. I am in an area that does not get AT&T 5G.
The phone is slightly heavy to hold in one hand, but it has a comfortable grip. For $170, you are not going to get a perfect phone, but this comes fairly close and for the price, it gets my highest grade.
I think this phone is an absolute bargain for the price of $170.
I am seriously considering buying another one as a spare.

For the price, you really can’t complain. You get what you paid for. And for a $100 this is really worth it.
Runs smoothly, no issues after 2 months.
Great refresh rate.
Video and image quality is great.
Gaming is already once it heats up it tends to lag.
Photo quality is great in well lit environments, however once you start to get into low light, it will drop in quality. 7/10
Video camera quality is aaaallllright. 6/10
Battery life is amazing, lasts all day on normal use.
If screen is on for extensive use you will notice a fast decline of course. But the system lets you know the average time before battery dies. Which is good.
The charger it comes with is extremely fast! Absolutely love the fast charging!
Overall great phone for just above $100. Definitely worth it. Of course you can always get something better, but this is a great budget phone. Probably one of the best for this price range.
