I like this product because has sugar reduce amount on it, I wish they will offer bigger bags, I use it with my oatmeal in the mornings, is good for urine track health among other things.

When I make chicken salad, I love to add a pop of sweetness to it. These craisins add just the right pop! While they are NOT sugar-free (because I grew up with diabetics and I know that sometimes my diabetic family members would see “LESS sugar” and think they could safely eat all they want), they do have less sugar and can be used in moderation for those who are carefully monitoring their sugar intake.
For me, I chop them so they spread out through the recipe. They can be sticky, but it isn’t that big a deal. I’m sure others have more uses, but for me… I bought them just for the chicken salad, lol!
PROs:
this is a HUGE bag, more economical than smaller ones
they last an extended length of time (I do keep mine in the refrigerator and let it come to room temp before using)
add a pop of sweet AND tart at the same time – YUM!!!
CONS:
it’s a huge bag (but smaller than a 5 lb bag of sugar) for some that may be a issue
for those with diabetes you may need to monitor the amount used

I’m a dried fruit addict, my favourite being Cherry Craisins. Unfortunately they do not sell cherry flavor in multi-pound bulk bags, only plain sweetened dried is available and too sweet for me to consider it ‘worth’ eating.
I accidentally ordered these during an experiment with my similarly sugar sensitive parent, I had intended to buy a variety of low/no sugar added dried fruit to sample and instead ended up with 10 small bags and 30 pounds of various dried cranberries including two of these.
Too mortified to send everything back, we decided to just toss them in the pantry and grab a few at a time to try, vacuum sealing extra pounds.
Out of all the brands and varieties, these were our favorite for salads. Sweetened like regular craisins but with about half being Splenda with what I’m assuming is added fiber powder. These are less sweet than a regular craisin, less tart and a little ‘drier’ as well as noticeably less sticky than Ocean Spray regular or flavored varieties.
About 1/3 fewer net carbs per serving, but still a whopping amount vs unsweetened cranberries (which are probably intolerable to most)
These retail for about 2.99 for 6 ounces at my nearby chain grocery, so Amazons price on this bulk bag is great and I can’t find it anywhere else.
Bag has always had a more than 8 month expiration date, fresh and sealed.

These cranberries are just sweet enough. Try some with oatmeal, trail mix of granola.

Love these! I add to my mixture of dates, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds and mixed nuts in my blender so I’m able to top off my yogurt or just eat with a spoon..always soft and fresh tasting.

I like the less sugar, but that does seem to make them a little tougher than the regular ones. I soak them first.

I love these for cooking, for snacking, and for making salads and muesli.
