O'Keeffe's for Healthy Feet Foot Cream, Guaranteed Relief for Extremely Dry, Cracked Feet, Instantly Boosts Moisture Levels, 3.2 Ounce Jar, (Pack of 1)

I just recently moved back home from Virginia to Michigan so my skin natural tolerance for the Michigan harsh winter climate is non-existent. As such both my hands and feet have been splitting and cracking which I never experienced while living in the east coast milder winter climate. I was at a lost what to do…my Aunt told me about O’keefe’s "Working Hands" and I learned by association its skin care partner "Healthy Feet". I was grateful for the recommendation and immediately gave it a try. I was not disappointed and cannot rave about these two products enough – to friends, family, and strangers alike…

When the O’Keefe’s products claims to heal the cracked/split skin it is no exaggeration, it almost feels like it is literally stitching or sutures the cuts closed which were pretty deep mind you.

Be aware, when the cuts are especially deep you need to reapply "Working Hands" more often especially after each subsequent hand washing as the package directs – just keep with it because eventually your skin builds up a resistance, protective barrier which can be felt by the moistness and smooth texture that builds up on your skin from this product. This product is a cream so it feels pasty and sticky when you first apply, just keep rubbing it in and that texture goes away; however, your skin will temporarily have a sticky feel that I figure is the "protective" barrier that the product claims on the package. Also, once you use this as your normal everyday skin care regiment you will not need to apply so liberally nor so often after each hand washing. I put this on after each shower/bath for sure, but as for after hand washing I only apply it if I have gone bathroom a particularly lot that day and always after I have cleaned the house because I tend to wash my hands of chemical more often then. Since I have made these concessions my hands cracking has not had a further relapse, you just have to be aware of how often you wash your hands and if your hands start to ache you much reapply otherwise you will have a possible relapse – I know I did in the very beginning.

Likewise, the "Healthy Feet" is a cream like consistency similar to the "Working Hands". In fact, the two products look identical and have the same product consistency and feel when applied. I decided to try this product because my poor feet were cracking on the soles; and also, combined with the rough and abrasive skin texture on both the sides of my feet and even on the pads of my toes. My feet were actually bleeding through my socks onto my floor that is how deep the cuts were and the abrasive, rough skin texture literally hurt when I brushed my feet against my legs while sleeping – it actually woke me up mind you from a sound sleep. Yikes…all this and I am not diabetic but triggered instead it seems by living in a harsh winter climate again. My skin has no tolerance against the winter conditions in Michigan it seems. Still, I only need to apply this once a day and now my feet are buttery smooth in feel and less abrasive texture. Still some rough texture but not intolerable like before – if I applied more often it would probably go away completely but your feet are so sticky from the cream that you cannot safely walk in your feet barefoot without slipping until it absorbs in your skin (which is why this cream is best applied in bed) – also, if you put socks on it "locks" the moisture of the cream into your feet for better absorbancy I found and also with the socks you can safely walk without slipping since your feet are no longer slippery. Just be aware if you put socks on that the trapped moisture does not cause athletes foot which is common with any topical foot moisturize or cream…I just make sure my foot is only slightly still damp before I put my socks on and I have not had athlete foot flare up as people warned me of with a foot cream.

I highly recommend "Healthy Feet" and "Working Hands" alike by O’keefe’s. This product is now part of my everyday skin care regimen for the harsh winter months and perhaps even beyond. My hands and feet are no longer open cuts/wounds; and furthermore, the product feels like it physically works to suture those cuts that do appear and with the consistent use of these products you will most likely not have a flare up again…unless you are not paying careful attention to your excessive hand washing and likewise, do not properly cover your hands with gloves when going outdoors in the bitter cold that is – than you will most likely have a flare up in your hands with cuts again. No fear – just use "Working Hands" again and it will heal once again. Love, Love, Love these products. Highly recommend.

Its winter. The time of year when heels crack and get rough no matter what you do or dont do for that matter. The description was interesting and I figured I’d give it a try. To my surprise, the first application made a significant difference. Like the directions state, a little goes a long way, otherwise if too much is applied and you’ll know it, it’s not smooth. Overall, I like it and will likely buy it again.

I spend a great deal of time on my feet, in high heels, racing through airports, taking interminable plane trips for work, and running through the cobble-stoned, rough, and steaming streets of Various parts of the world. All of this has taken its toll on my poor feet. They. become very dry, with painful cracks, thickened and itchy soles, and callouses had formed, even on the tips of my toes.

I have very frequent pedicures, massage Petroleum jelly into my feet, and sleep with them covered in Vaseline and thick socks. But it just was not enough. Pumice stones,, smoothing sponges, even the dangerous razor style callous removers did nothing to improve the texture and suppleness of the skin on my soles, toes, and other areas.

I finally purchased a battery-powered foot sanding type of device from Amazon, and this cream was recommended along with the device. I had nothing to lose, everything to gain, so I bought the cream, and began to rub it thoroughly into my abused feet each evening, using the special battery-powered smoothing device as often as possible.

Was I ever surprised! Where had this cream been for all of my life? After preparing my feet, I would rub this cream into the entire foot, adding extra for the more toughened and hardened areas. The cream itself is luscious, lending a smooth, cooling, and relaxing surface to my over-worked feet. In the beginning I did not even care if it removed the callouses and dryness, just the pleasurable and relaxing feel of the cream on my sore feet was a gift. I slept in hospital socks after each evenings post-shower session with my feet. This sped-up the process of taming my impossibly rough and tough feet.

I.was doubtful as to the efficacy of this product for the first month or so. But after about two months of bi-weekly, or more use each week, I looked down one day to discover someone’s else’s lovely, smooth, non-calloused, and well-moisturized feet, residing happily where formerly my poor abused feet has previously suffered.. This cream, along with one of the battery or electrically powered foot smoothing devices had achieved a miracle! My feet were lovely and smooth, no more hard build-up of dry skin on my soles, no more cracks, and lovely and smooth toes.

No longer did my sheer panty hose snag each morning , from the sheer roughness and dry texture of my feet. It was not to be believed, but it was, and is, extremely so – this cream, along with a callous removal sanding device had rescued my poor feet from their days of infamy.

I carry this cream and the foot smoothing device with me when I travel, I never miss a scheduled foot-smoothing appointment with myself, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. As a test, I tried using the smoothing device in conjunction with other lotions and creams. I wanted to determine if it was really the cream that was making such a difference.

Yes, nothing else provided the silky smoothness of my feet that this cream provided. As an added bonus it is not at all greasy, and it is beautifully absorbed into my feet. The little tub of cream lasts a very long time indeed. I am careful to have two tubs of cream, one resides permanently in my suitcase, along with one of the foot smoothing devices . I daren’t risk traveling without it now.

Summer has finally made its appearance in some of the northern climes that I inhabit, and instead of dreading my sophisticated and high-heeled "work" sandals, I await the chance to sit outside of one of Europe’s side cafes, no longer niding my sad little feet under my chair. Instead, I stretch-out and relax, knowing that my feet, if noticed, will be noticed for the cute summer sandals, as well as for the smooth and silky skim of my feet.

Whether a foreign traveler, lracing through airports, or sticking close to home, my feet are ready for anything. I am so pleased, why did I never notice the existence of this cream in all of the previous years spent surfing through Amazon? Well, it doesn’t really matter now, my feet have remained lovely and smooth. I will never risk being without this cream, along with some type of foot- smoothing paraphernalia in my suitcase .

This is one thing that worth the money and the glowing reviews of others. This cream does what it is supposed to do, as an added bonus, my sensitive skin has suffered not the tiniest inconvenience as a result of frequent use of this cream. If you have dry and calloused feet, I can wholeheartedly recommend this to you.

I do not know anyone employed by this company, I had never even heard of them before seeing this pictured on an Amazon page. But I give thanks to whomever is responsible for this lovely line of foot ( and hand.) treatments. Try it, you will have no regrets.

I’ve suffered from dry, cracking feet for my entire adult life. Relentless, deep calluses yielded deeper, painful cracks that refused to heal and made for jagged–even sharp–shards of dry skin. My feet were even resistant to foot-files and pumice (meanwhile, I also found great success with Mr Pumice, which paired beautifully with O’Keeffe’s Healthy Feet).

I suffer from this no more! My feet are normal! It’s amazing!

I tried a number of lotions and balms in the past. Maybe they didn’t work very well, but maybe it was the case that everything else I tried was messy and therefore effortful to put on. Not O’Keeffe’s! It goes on messlessly, meaning I am not averse to putting it on regularly. Maybe that’s key, and it’s made all the difference. I put it on in the morning as well as before bed (without socks! I always had to do that with other stuff, which meant I never used other stuff when it was too hot for socks, which is almost always the case where I live).

This stuff works so well.. its winter and my feet were getting dry… I bought a foot file which I think made the dry skin worse and my skin feel rough. This stuff softened my feet almost immediately. I put it on at night and in the morning there was a difference. It’s a small container but a little goes a loooong way. It will last a while.
