Very sturdy, protects the phone and pricing is very competitive. Have two for different phones: a Moto X4 and an iPhone 6. The X4 is kept vertical/portrait and there are no complaints there. Fits well, adequate clearance for most power cable though the stiffer, cloth-wrapped cables are pressed against the base/table. The iPhone is kept horizontal/portrait, not because that is the preferred operating mode but because this phone is often used with wired ear-buds and the 3.5 mm phono jack/power haven’t the spacing to fit between the supports and when around the left support provide little support for the right side of the phone. For horizontal use these work best with phones having physical control buttons on only one side, preferably the right hand side. In either orientation the phone needs to be relatively close, say just beyond your keyboard, to use the front-facing camera for video calls. It may be unfair to dock it a star for what are probably unavoidable design limitations but where is it written that life is fair?
As these stands go, this is one of the best. Fixed positioning means it doesn’t loosen and flop about. The substantial metal and the rubber padding means the stand stays put on the desk and the phone stays put in the stand. The price is competitive and the quality is superlative. Recommended.

I bought this item to hold my cell phone. It works great and was a great price! It can be used as a charging stand because there’s a place to run the charging cord through the backside. It’s heavy and has nonslip pads on the bottom and also in the cradle that holds the phone as well as the backside where the phone sits. I use it to hold my phone when I’m watching a podcast and want to take notes. It doesn’t tip over because the the nonslip pads hold it securely!

I bought this phone stand to use in my kitchen. Most of my recipes I prepare these days are stored on my phone. I wanted a stand so that I can easily read my recipe while preparing it. This stand works great for this purpose! It’s just the right height and takes no counter space because I stand it on the bar above the sink.
