Six arrived. Two were rotten. Two had soft spots and were only partially edible. Two were good. Poor value.

I contacted the seller off-line to express my dissatisfaction over the lack of sweetness of most of the oranges—and that they produced little juice for the price. Not sure they were even Valencia oranges. Since I have not heard back from the seller after several days, I am posting this review (the first negative review I’ve ever posted to Amazon).

I had to throw these out. This is the problem with perishables delivered by any of the many food delivery services, in this case Whole Foods. Frozen items often come defrosted and do not refreeze well. Even when you ask them to use insulated bags, they usually don’t. And often the shipper makes many deliveries before yours. Fruits often come bruised and the shopper is never looking to pick the best from the produce since they are always rushing.
