Cultivated for more than 3,000 years, first in India, this cool, crunchy member of the gourd family grows in vines on the ground, but reaches lofty heights in recipes like tzatziki, the Greek yogurt dish. Keep a cuke’s high moisture content intact by placing it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Use within a week….

These cukes have a very thin skin, few seeds, and crispy texture. They are very perishable, so use them within a day of buying. If you need to store them, store in the warmest part of fridge, in aerated packaging so as to avoid moisture collection. I use a paper plate, and cover with a dry paper towel. These are similar, or might actually be Persian cucumbers, which are a delicacy.
Note about storage: these are very perishable. As soon as you receive them, remove them from the cellophane bag. Do this first before unloading other groceries, otherwise you might end up with ruined cukes (slimy and rotten…yes, it can happen in a few hours.). Dry off w paper towels. Place on a clean paper plate, cover lightly w paper towel, store in warmest part of fridge with plenty of aeration. They should last a day or two, but they will be best on same day, after an hour or two of refrigeration.

Fresh and well picked

These are pretty decent I will say that you have to eat them within a day or two because any longer than that they start to either get sticky, get slimy or start to mold all together.

Crisp, flavorful and super fresh. Very pricey – Eat them up quickly because they Mold within days of unwrapping. Want them to last longer? Preserve them by pickling and jarring. Either way they do not last long in my household – Only wish the price was more reasonable. I highly recommend these organic cucumbers.

These are great, crispy little cucumbers, if you get fresh ones. To help them last longer I find rinsing them immediately, drying them and then wrapping them in a paper towel makes them last twice as long. I just reuse the paper towel afterwards for a spill etc…

They were fresh. I used 2 of these in my smoothie yesterday. I’ve never had the organic ones before. But they’re ok. I don’t see the difference between these and the regular ones however. Highly recommend!

Fresh, small enough, for easy to use salad for two.

These are great, The skin is thin so no need to peel.
