Maybe I’ve just had good luck, but the strawberries that I got from Amazon Fresh were always really flavorful and ripe. I kind of can’t believe I’m writing an online review for strawberries, but I did think they were really good, and the quality was consistent over multiple purchases. Yum.

Hi, It is such a hit or miss with these berries. 1 has to do who pick them for delivery (wish they would look on bottom of plastic container b4 putting into my order) … Some are or have spoiled and mold on some. Not sure about reordering them. Pat

Good flavor but they looked like they would expire not so long after purchase so I ate quickly.

The quality of produce with Fresh seems to vary by location, I think. I have only ordered strawberries from here one time and they were awesome – slightly bruised but no mold, NOT Driscoll’s brand (this is a plus), lasted about 1wk in the fridge (the same longevity as store bought), super sweet and really strong strawberry flavor. I was thoroughly impressed and wish I had ordered more! I’m surprised by the bad strawberry reviews here, but I can imagine if your local Fresh doesn’t have good ones or maybe stored them in the wrong conditions then that would cause a bad batch.
I will say though, I’ve ordered red raspberries from Fresh one time and I was incredibly disappointed. They looked fresh and ripe but had a weird overly-squishy texture, almost mealy, and weren’t sweet/didn’t taste ripe. It was the strangest thing but I’m sure was a result of being refrigerated for long periods of time. I will also say that I’ve ordered English cucumbers, blackberries, and blueberries 2x each and in one order they weren’t too good (overly bruised, dented, or not sweet/never ripened properly) but in the other order they were awesome. In addition, the romaine lettuce, avocados, and tomatoes I’ve bought (2 separate times) have consistently been really good quality, tasted great, and didn’t go moldy in the first 1.5wks.
Since it seems to be a mixed bag I would suggest proceeding with caution and testing the waters before you buy large amounts of produce via Fresh. For sure I will be buying strawberries, blueberries, romaine lettuce, avocados, tomatoes and cucumbers from them again. I am reluctant to buy red raspberries anymore since those were just horrible.
