First time buying and it didn’t disappoint

These were absolutely excellent tomatoes. They smelled fresh and how real tomatoes should smell. They tasted great in salads and dishes I cooked. Finally, they were very juicy. They came in ripe and just right.

I have been buying organic tomatoes at a premium price from Whole Foods for a long time, and in the past when they said they were organic it was USDA organic grown in organic soil. These are from Backyard Farms in Maine, from a hothouse so I assume hydroponic. We are now in the climate crisis, and I obviously will have to grow my own to get what I used to and nurture American soil. I think it is misleading to sell these as organic.

I have ordered these tomatoes 21 times over the past year or so. Every time, I never know what I’m going to get. However, odds are that at least one will be smashed or the skin broken or somehow damaged. Only a few times have the tomatoes arrived in as perfect condition as if I had picked them myself from the Whole Foods produce isle. I give these tomatoes a 5 star rating because I thrive on the suspense of whether or not my tomatoes will arrived in tact like skydivers thrive on the adrenaline and sensation of hurtling towards the earth in an airborn free fall from 15,000 feet.

I love these! Should have plenty of Vitamin C in them. Yes?
