This is my third attempt at buying figs online and at first I said "WOWEE! These are plump, juicy and very tasty." (1st image) The first figs I bought were from Shiloh Farms and were very dry but edible. The second figs were supposed to be from Snack Farms, but I received figs that were repackaged by the seller in their own bags that contained horrible dried out figs with black rotten parts that reminded me of little hockey pucks – totally inedible – gave them to the wildlife. Unfortunately, these figs from Food To Live spoiled within a couple of weeks and I had to throw out about 1/4 of the bag. (2nd image) They were so bad they were actually making me sick. Guess I’ll keep searching.

Little know advise: You gotta open eaxh figs before eating : about One in 30 will be moldy. it’s just the nature of the game but there will be a few in every batch , not the companies fault just the nature of life and dried figs.
Some will be pure white and honey flavored
Some will be dark and fermented, I like those the best !

So many in one package and we gobble them up, have to limit our purchases so we don’t get to tubby from these wonderful figs!

I have been ordering Foods to Live products for years now and never been disappointed. Smyrna figs are may favorite. I just reordered them in a bigger batch. I see people giving a one star because they found worms or size or whatever…if there are worms and I only seen one or two since I been ordering them for the last two years, its proof that are organic and healthy. These figs are Amazing!!

These are great figs – they taste just like the ones you find in the farmers markets.

These figs aren’t like the moist black figs you can sometimes find at your local grocery store (although that’s becoming increasingly rare for me). But they’re fine. If you’re accustomed to the figs that come in dried six-inch circles, these taste just the same. I’ve basically had them sitting around in their original bag, not sealed, and a month or two later they’re still just as good as when I opened them.

Very hard product, will need to soak it in water to get it soft enough to chew. I will not order these again they seem really old. Figs which I eat a lot of are not this hard from other companies.
