WARNING. GROSS. BUT VALUABLE FOR THE GIRLIES.
So ive had this horrible ingrown hair for like 6 months. I tried soaking it. I tried exfoliating it. I tried taking my vajayjay to the spa. I tried steaming. I tried leaving it alone. I tried the PRID drawing salve and the girlies who know about that KNOW it works. I tried STABBING IT W PINS. NOTHING. For 6 months. Now im contemplating the dermatologist but thats not a GYNECOLOGIST i dont want the skin lady looking at MY lady you know? So i start googling help for it. I come across the Fur branded patches for ingrown hairs. Theyre stupid expensive. I see these. I compare the ingredients. I like that this one has tea tree oil and the Fur patches dont. I buy the patch. They arrive QUICKLY which is GOOD because i was BOUT to start treating her like a voodoo doll again and she REALLY hates that. I apply the patch and go to sleep. In the morning the spot was smaller and much flatter. The patch looked nasty as hell. I was like “ew damn.” i washed everything and applied the patch AGAIN. Then go on to work. This was monday. By TUESDAY EVENING WHEN I RETURNED FROM WORK (4 patches later, because i took 2 a day) the bump was showing blackness inside it. THATS THE OFFENDING HAIR THATS BEEN HIDING FOR 6 MONTHS. i pull the hair out above the skin level with a pin. CHILD. I KID YOU NOT EIGHT. COUNT EM EIGHT. FULL SIZED 4a HAIRS POPPED OUT LOOKING LIKE THEY WERE READY FOR LENGTH CHECKS. I TWEEZED THOSE GIRLS AWAY AND NOW IM LIVING MY BEST LIFE W A SMALL HOLE. THAT HOLE GONE HEAL. THESE THINGS WORK. IM SO HAPPY.

I found these microdarts at a time when i had under-the-surface bumps that i wanted to nip in the bud
I was excited about these especially after reading some great reviews (one in particular here that talked about how these helped uplift a pesky ingrown)
First off – PRICE: I thought these were very expensive even after my experience. 9 dots for basically $9????
if these were the holy grail, then yes, I wouldn’t mind paying $9 but esp since these weren’t effective, i was not happy.
Second – PRESENTATION/PACKAGING: I give this a solid C-.
It’s nice that they package the 9 dots in a plastic protective box but WHY are the microdarts exposed if that’s the area that’s penetrating our skin???
The plastic sheet they come on has a circle cut out for the microdarts, which I unknowingly grazed my fingers all over. *eye roll* I wish they were covered so that they stayed clean and sterile before going on my skin.
Third – EFFICACY: I tried these on both under-the-skin bumps I have on my forehead and chin. They did not work. Straight and simple.
Overall, I will not repurchase or recommend these to others.

Great for under the surface blemishes

So I had a deep cystic pimple forming and it was already swelling up my cheek. It was too deep to dry out with topical treatments and I was desperate so I ordered these and put one on during the day when it arrived and then switched to a new one before bed. After one day and night of wearing this the swelling went down exponentially, so I kept it up. I’m almost done with the patches but the pimple is virtually gone by now, the redness and swelling is hardly visible and the painful hard cyst that was forming deep in the skin has dissolved to a much smaller, soft bump. This patch works BUT it is important that I mention I’m also supplementing with Vitamin A, Vitamin B5, NAC, turmeric for the inflammation and avoided all dairy, sugar and high fat foods- I think all these different elements helped diminish this breakout in less than 3 days before an event. If you are in a pinch and need to heal a cystic pimple quickly this is a worthy investment but remember you have to clean your skin day and night and avoid any inflammatory foods and topical products at all costs.
Update 1 Week Later: So the pimple was almost gone after 4 days of using the patches but as soon as I slipped and had junk food it got inflamed again. It’s still much smaller and softer than the huge breakout I started off with but I had to pickup another round of patches at CVS to keep using them at night. It’s an investment if you don’t want to wait a whole month to see the deep pimples go away but I definitely think other factors will affect your progress if your dealing with acne that is provoked by diet and hormones.

When these patches are applied to thinner, tighter skin (such as right over a bone) they work like a wonder – the bridge of the nose, right on the jawline, or the edge of the chin. But, if used in areas where skin is thicker, “squishier”, or more fleshy – the cheek or neck – they do nothing. In fact, they seem to make swelling worse. Given the price point for just a few patches, I expected them to work everywhere consistently. If you a person who gets cystic pimples along the jaw, chin, or nose these are still worth the investment. But if you are trying to treat spots on your cheeks or neck, skip this product.
Peeling them off the plastic liner is tricky. I have yet to do it without leaving a wrinkle in the patch. That doesn’t seem to stop their effectiveness when used in the right locations, but it is very annoying. The plastic liner has odd circle cut outs that make it harder, not easier, to peel.

These are just okay. Don’t seem as potent as others I’ve tried. They did seem to shrink a couple underground pimples, but didn’t have the wow factor I was expecting. Good value for the money, though.

These are so satisfying, it’s like a magic sticker for your blemishes. They are easy to use and very effective!

Works great. Micro farts help it penetrate.

The darts used in each patch are unprotected once taken out of the small plastic clam-shell packaging. It does not say to keep it in there or warn the user to make sure not to touch the back of the sheet with the dots. Similar products have this general design yet the entire medication portion is protected with a plastic layer until use. I was able to use two out of the 9 patches successfully as I thought the back was able to be touched and I set it down.
