If I wanted pork, I would’ve ordered pork but I do not eat pork because it’s not good for you! This product claims it’s elk it’s elk/pork. Anyone who wants to eat clean meat would never touch this product.

We purchased this product because our local supplier shut down. We have not been disappointed and can’t wait to try some of the other items that are available.

it’s good as far as the taste goes but, it’s rather high price.
if you live in a area that doesn’t carry this type then it’s worth it
but if you cam get similar local then pick you poison

The skin and brine is very thick and tough. It also sticks to the meat and is difficult to remove. The taste is not bad but it’s not that good either. There is not a lot of flavor to it. A little dry and not that moist. All of that and it is very expensive on top of it all. I might try other varieties but I would not get the elk again.

I love elk and was hoping for a little more out of this product. Did not much different than any other beef summer sausage you can buy in the store. Was hoping for less fat content. This was still a little greasy and is not 100% elk. Mixed with other commercial meats and tallow.

These Elk summer sausages are excellent. On the trail, or at a gathering they stand out. Elk is delicious, of course. I wish they were bigger!! Savory, tender, really good. I give them as gifts, too. Love that they have no nitrites.

Buyer be ware. About 1/2 the product was elk and the other part of the product was pork. This was not clear on the website. It was not clear when I purchased it that’s when I received it it and it was very clear that this is not all elk, it’s pork. I am very disappointed.

This is my second time to purchase these. First time to try this time because they are very good. I endorse this product and you will enjoy as well. Best part is, your mouth isn’t covered in grease like most other companies.
