Looks like a lot of jerky. Found it to be so very tough and stringy. The flavor is good but very hard to eat.

I loved this jerky so much that my boyfriend and I devoured three bags in less than two days. In fact, a second order (3 small packages) arrived just moments ago and I knew I needed to give these folks 5 stars for providing one of the best tasting jerky options I’ve ever had. The ginger in this (Garlic Ginger) is subtle and reminds me so much of the Vietnamese style jerky my mom always made when I was a kid. Yes, I can also make my own jerky (I learned from the best) but due to the time and effort involved I don’t always commit. This is by far the next best thing! My boyfriend agrees, too. I know a few reviews mentioned the fat content in some of the pieces they received but I actually love the little amounts of fat in this jerky. I love that it is chewy and savory. My only complaint (and a small one at that) is that it is just a wee tad saltier than I would like….but that’s not a dealbreaker. I’m considering trying some of their other flavors as well. And the ingredients can’t be beat….nothing artificial. I didn’t think this was too sweet….just the right amount of cane sugar for balance. I’ll be buying this again and again!

The flavor of this is amazing. It is nicely salty, a little sweet, lots of garlic and ginger flavor. It has a good texture, somewhat hard, but still easy to bite through, and decently thick. My only problem with this jerky was there was a lot of fat. The pieces themselves were coated in a thin layer of fat, and many had pieces of fat on the sides that had dried out and gotten tough. This might be my favorite jerky if they used a leaner cut of meat.

I think the original flavor is perfect and will continue to order that. I tried this one out of curiosity, but won’t be ordering again. It’s fine, but too flavored to actually taste the beefiness of jerky (that I love). Also the bag came with the bottom split open, like it didn’t seal during the manufacturing process. I’m still eating it, but wanted to note as there wasn’t an easy way to contact the seller or Amazon about it as it was closed off for returns. Not a huge deal.

We’ve purchased 4 bags of jerky from this company and have liked 3 of them.. the cowboy jerky (2 bags) and the chili lime (1 bag) were excellent.. good flavor, texture, etc.. but this flavor, the Garlic Ginger, although the flavor profile was decent was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
It was extremely tough. Not hard, not dry.. the others were a yummy dry, kinda tear apart, meaty jerky.. we all loved it. This one was a rock. On top of that, it had fat all over it.. not small pieces that add flavor but big chunks that ruin the experience. 🙁
Definitely not recommended unless they sort out both the fat and hardness of this flavor.
[UPDATE]
I reached out to the company and they responded quickly and offered to replace the bag of jerky (I provided them pics of the fat, etc.) They were professional, explained that sometimes cuts with added fat make it into the batches but that they stand behind their products.
We’ll be buying more from them soon!

I decided to make change in my diet, eat more meat, less carbohydrates. Because I’m a snacker throughout the day I decided to try beef jerky as my snack. I ordered and tried several different types and flavors of jerky but when I tried the “ People’s Choice Beef Jerky”, I knew on the first bite that I found my snack.
The flavors, freshness and quality of there jerky made for an easy transition to more meat, less wheat!!! I really enjoy noshing away on there jerky, a lot of protein with little sugars or fats. Thanks for the jerky guys, you’re #1.

The taste is a significant departure from “normal” jerky, and that’s a good thing! Very tasty. Second only to my favorite, Orange Honey Teriyaki, of all of “People’s Choice Beef Jerky”!! NOTE: There are those customers who have said theirs had mold. Here’s what I do when i receive my 1# bag – – Transfer a small amount to a sandwich-sized Zip bag, and put it in the fridge; a smaller amount on my plate to eat, and the rest, after I have exhausted as much air as I can, zip it shut, and put it in the freezer. I have NEVER had mold.
