When my daughter recently got braces, she was overwhelmed trying the use the floss threader that the orthodontist provided. The Platypus brand of flossers were recommended by the orthodontist, but they are much more expensive. So thankful for these economical flossers so my 12-year-old can floss with ease and confidence!

As a dental hygienist, you would think my kids would be A+ patients….you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. My 12 year old is in braces and I am constantly on him about how important it is to keep his gums/teeth healthy. He isn’t one to consistently use the old fashioned threader and floss method. However, these are a great alternative for him to be compliant. He is able to floss relatively easily with these ortho floss sticks. The quantity/cost was reasonable. Overall, I am glad I found an alternative for him to use to help keep his gums healthy.

I have had my braces for about 2 weeks and so far I haven’t felt comfortable using these because they don’t seem like they will fit under my wires yet. Maybe it’s too soon and once my teeth move these will fit under better?

Very easy and helpful way to floss. They don’t fit between all my brackets, just the bottom front teeth are too close for these to fit. Overall great option for flossing and make it more time efficient with braces. 10/10 recommend!

This product is terrific, especially for those with braces. It’s gentle on braces, which is a must-have. Being from Plackers, brand reliability is a given.
