I had such high hopes for these. We wanted to switch to compostable bags for our everyday garbage. Unfortunately these are so thin and rip just from opening them and putting them on our garbage can. I have read so many good reviews so I was very excited. However, after reading more reviews, I believe it could be a quality control issue. We are super bummed.

I love this recycling bag. Unfortunately the order before my last was damaged from factory. Every other bag or more were cut making them unusable. Would like to Receive replacement or refund.

I’ve read a few reviews and decided to submit a review myself. I’ve used a lot of different types of bio-bags and these are pretty decent for the cost. I bought them based on the thickness and they’re better than most of the other bags I’ve bought in the past, that weren’t nearly as thick. They don’t fall apart, even when I fill them up, which I sometimes do. And I’d say that my biggest issue has been when I tear the bags apart from the perforated line, the next bag will sometimes rip. I mostly got through the whole roll before experiencing that. I don’t know why it started close to the end of the roll, but now I’m more careful with how I tear the bags apart and haven’t experienced this issue more than a handful of times.
I looked at other brands of bags because it’s almost time to replace this box, but I’m leaning towards buying these again. The only thing that could make these that much better is if they had handles.

Strong and sturdy compostable large bags. Really did the job needed.

I purchased these several times between 2022 and 2023. I thought that they were great quality and a good value compared with other brands. So I bought several more boxes. The last one I just finished up had a major issue with the perforation. No matter how carefully I pulled them apart – half of the bags ripped the next bag – which is the bottom and renders it unusable. So half of my bags just went into another bag to be composted. Which doesn’t make these such a good value after all. I’m on my last box and am trying another brand. We’ll see if anything improves. Let us know if you address the problem!

These are wonderful for our city compost pick up. We use them in a smaller plastic bin to collect our compost each week and it keeps everything contained for easy disposal. Keep in mind though that these are truly compostable so they WILL start to break down if they get wet, so just be sure to place a papertowel under any wetter foods before you toss them in (our city compost allows paper towels – be sure to check yours for specifics on what can and cannot be included).

These bags fit my Mainstays 7.6 gal Touch Top Lid waste bin perfectly, and are nice stretchy bags – but unfortunately they leak.
Our food waste bin liner gets changed once a week, and there almost always is a mess to clean out underneath the liner. I wish the mfg would make the bags a little thicker so that they would hold up better to moisture from vegetable peelings and coffee grounds.

These bags are sturdy enough that it can hold food scraps for about 2 days without breaking up. Thicker than those compostable bags in Trader Joe’s produce section.

These used to work great and I ordered them for years. The last few boxes I’ve gotten have had increasingly bad quality issues to the point of being unusable. The bags just shred while trying to tear one off or open it, and if you get as far as using it, it falls apart under your fingers when your try to remove it from the compost bin. I’m disappointed that these don’t work anymore, but it’s not worth the frustration.
