This was the first time purchasing hazelnuts from this Farm Fresh Nuts. The nuts do have a good flavor and came in a zip lock bag. They were not as fresh as nuts that I usually order every year from another supplier.

I purchased these filberts to use in a German Christmas cookie recipe. I wanted to be sure that the nuts were fresh and not rancid. So far, they have met my expectations! These were the absolute WORST hazelnuts that I have ever ordered. Most of the nuts chewed or tasted bad but some didn’t even resemble a hazelnut upon being cracked open. We ended up throwing the majority of them away.
