Pork rinds are normally a hit or miss for me. Sometimes they are quite tasty and satisfy my craving for a salty snack. Other times, they are overly hard to bite into or nearly soggy from all the grease!!! YUCK!
The texture of these is light, airy, and crispy. I didn’t find any that were overly hard. The texture was consistent throughout the entire bag. Just right!
The hot and spicy seasoning is just that! To me, it was flaming hot! LOL My husband LOVES spicy food and even he thought these were HOT! The natural flavor of the pork rind is definitely overshadowed by the chili pepper seasoning. It isn’t bad, just extremely spicy. And for people that are heat wimps like me, the burn-your-mouth feeling seems to linger on forever! If you are the kind of person that can’t get enough heat, you MUST try these!
All of the pork rinds that we have tried tasted incredibly fresh! There were almost NO broken pieces in the bags either which was quite surprising. Spicy, crunchy, high protein snack that satisfies my salty snack cravings without being the same old boring chips. 🙂 Definitely NOT boring with that kick. WOW!
Nerd Alert –
These are some of the best pork rinds I have eaten, and I have eaten many on keto. There is no peculiar aftertaste as some pork rinds have, with the subtle flavor being of clean oil and pork. They are not greasy and do not have hard spots. The spicy seasoning is also delicious and makes them perfect as a side to low carb dips or salads. I highly recommend this brand.

Holy cow, hot and spicy is hot and spicy! I ate one little pork rind and I was crying from the spice. It was way to spice for me. But I am a bland bread lover, so if you like hot and spicy this might not be too spicy for you, but it was for me. The pork rinds by themselves are airy, crunchy and light. But boy, very spicy!

I have eaten the hot and spicy rinds for years and by lots of brands but these are just TOO HOT! They got the texture perfect because these are light, airy and cooked to perfection. They went way overboard on the spice though and turned these into something you’d dare someone into eating instead of actually enjoying as a snack. I love hot and spicy foods and have always put jalapenos on sandwiches, eat big gobs of wasabi or Chinese hot mustard but after just a few rinds it was more pain than pleasure. No thanks.

I’m a big fan of their bbq sauces and I just had to try their pork rinds. And let me tell you. They did not disappoint!

These are good. They have a good flavor and spiciness that builds the more you eat. They aren’t any better than any other pork rinds that I have had but they are priced like they should be way better. So, good but not worth the price, not even close.
