These bags are very thick and strong. They don’t puncture easily. I wish they had a drawstring closure. They fit my outdoor trash can well, but the sides don’t stay up very well when I throw trash in it. New bags tear off of the roll easily.

i got these to just use in my kitchen garbage can, not for outdoor organic material (though i might use it for that too at some point). so far, they are thick enough and strong enough for my purposes. i don’t tend to fill my garbage can up super full or put a lot of food scraps in it, but i have been eating a lot of watermelon lately so the rinds, which can definitely be messy/juicy, have been ending up in trash can and i’ve not had any problem with leakage or busting. i just like knowing that the bag will eventually decompose and not add to the plastic problem we have in landfills. these are pretty pricey so not sure i’d ever order them again but i’m glad to have tried them and if eco-consciousness is worth the cost to you, then i’d recommend these bags for any household purpose.
i also very much appreciate that they are unscented, because there’s nothing i hate more than a scented trash bag. the only thing i wish is that they were made to have handles to tie. i get not wanting to add plastic to it for drawstring-type handles, but they could be cut so they were easier to tie up at the top. but if you don’t fill your can too full, it’s easy to tie it off just gathering the top.

We use these for our recycle bin, so nothing too heavy. They work about the same as other bags, but I like to think I am doing something good for the environment. Haven’t tested to see how long they take to break down because we throw th recycle out to the dumpster every few days, and that is fine.

I liked that they are biodegradable. I did not like that they were not very strong.

These bags are large and very durable, we were very surprised at how durable they were considering they are compostable. Very good value.

I feel good about using a biodegradable product to make me feel like I am doing my part for Earth.

Well finally gave up on plastic, plastic, plastic and more plastic. These bags claim to break down without any special composting protocols. I am distressed daily throwing more and more plastic into our trash and environment so finally decided to try these. They are roomy! Fits our trash can that several brands of plastic bags needed a 40 gallon to work. Have NOT used them fully yet (still filling up our first bag) but so far they appear to be sturdy enough to handle our needs. We need to ban non-compostable trash bags really …..

This definitely FELT very sturdy when I was using it for normal trash purposes, somewhere between normal grade trashbag, and contractor grade. it felt thick and rip resistant.
however, I used it for some yard pickup, and over the span of 4 days between using it, and tossing it into the trash, the sun started breaking down the bag, and it started shredding apart when i picked up the green waste!
still a nice bag, just beware that it absolutely DOES start breaking down quickly!

Waste Management took the bags so acceptable to them for compost. I had to get used to loading these bags as they are not as sturdy as plastic but did not take long to avoid tears in the bags.
