This compost bag product is exactly what I was looking for. Fit my compost bin perfectly and it feels thick and sturdy. I had a question regarding the description listed it as 20-count when I made the purchase but when I received it, it was 12-count. I contacted Simply Bio and the representative, Ashton, was quickly able to rectify the situation. I am impressed with the friendly and quick responsive customer service. I recommend.

These bags were such a pleasant surprise! I was doing renovations on my house when I received them. Even stuffing them with rolls of carpets with some debris didn’t phase them.

These are the first large size compost bags that don’t rip as soon as you try to open it.

These large compostable bags are very good quality and quite strong.

Had to bag a ton of fallen leaves, and these were perfect. They are durable enough to squash the leaves into, the bigger sticks didn’t puncture the bag, plus I’m comforted to know they are fully bio-degradable. One last thing…. they’re quite huge… so they fit a lot of stuff.

While the title of the product describes these as being “20-Count,” both the Unit Count below and the count on the item’s well-labeled box indicate this item as being a 12-count.
I see that these are compostable, but I’d be unwilling to add them to my personal compost due to the ingredients. I’m personally not feeling super comfortable with the PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) at the moment. It would be super cool if there were some clarification from the manufacturer as to whether PBAT qualifies as a phthalate, since I do see the word right there in its name. Without such clarification, and as someone who actively avoids phthalates, I’m a bit scared to touch these and will currently only do so while wearing gloves, if I’m being honest. At least the bags state that these are “commercially compostable only,” so I’m happy to just send them away for now. These large bags feel plenty durable for my uses collecting yard waste, mostly in the form of pine needles and pinecones.
I like the box that these come in, which again is well-labeled in addition to being easy to repeatedly open and close, making it ideal for storage. Some important notes printed on the box are that these should be kept away from heat and stored in a cool, dry place, which means I can’t store them in my hot, Florida shed with the rest of my yard waste bags. Also, when these bags are made to contain organic matter (as in stuff that has lived and not necessarily stuff that is certified as ‘organic’), they should be disposed of within 3 days.
Overall, I find these bags large bags to be appropriately functional, and while I do appreciate that they’re biodegradable, I’m personally still a bit wary about some of their ingredients, at least until further clarification is provided.

To be honest I was surprised how durable these bags were compared to others. Highly recommend these!!

After many tries, I finally found “the bag” for me. I have lots of palm trees with fronds like saw blades. This bag is large enough to fit in my large trash can for loading & doesn’t rip like other bio-degradable bags I have tried. These are a little more expensive, but worth it. Buying again.
