I got this elsewhere, but now have to have more! Its a delightful, unusual flavor but too strong I bet unless coconut milk is added as suggested on the label recipe. I use coconut cream for a richer sensation. I sautéed carrot slices, onions, cut up turkey (or chicken) and threw in raw spinach at the end with the sauce and coconut cream. Incredibly good.

It’s really tasty, a good time saver.

If you’re expecting a straight forward peanut sauce (a la satay)… this is not that simmer sauce.
That being said, the notes of lemongrass, ginger, and rice vinegar really worked well together nicely and it was quite mild so it would be easily customized to your preferred heat level! I opted to use tofu and added kabocha squash, zucchini, red bell pepper, and onion — and it was delicious! I’m looking forward to including this simmer sauce in my pantry for a quick meal, as well as trying the other flavor varieties.

For a peanut based simmer sauce, the flavor should be nutty and savory. The flavor in this sauce is too overpowered from lime and vinegar. The flavor profile becomes more on the fence of Thai (think Tom Yum or Pad Thai) or Mexican ceviche, which isn’t bad, but it’s not what you would expect if you were expecting Peanut simmer suace.
