This is a product that I would always have on hand – it has nice big quality pieces of fruit that includes : Bananas, Apples, Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries 🍓 and they are absolutely delicious in cereal , hot oats, in yogurt and just to munch on as a healthy snack. The bag these come in have a resealable zipper opening and it is sturdy. I usually transfer them to my vacuum sealed containers. I love the way they look in them. Having fresh fruit around can get expensive and difficult on a tight schedule sometimes and these are always good, they don’t spoil and when you add milk they come to life.
I like to eat them out of the bag too. 😉
The Cons ;
there was a bunch of dust in the bag and the bananas didn’t taste that great in my opinion, the blueberry and raspberry were trippy out of the bag , better in milk with cereal.
The bag is large enough for a family size- Fun pack – perfect for hikers and day trips ! Product is from Mexico, which I think is cool.

If you know what you are getting and you like freeze dried fruit, then these fit the bill. Although I think it’s slightly deceptive to call it a “Berries Mix.” Yes, I know bananas are technically a berry, so that’s probably how they get away with the name, but most people I would argue don’t think of them this way, and I believe that over half of this container is made up of bananas and apples.
As far as the taste, well, that is something that is best left to the individual. I’ve had freeze-dried foods before, but I guess I didn’t really remember how I felt about them. Now that I’m reminded, I’ve decided they are not for me. They may be perfectly fine for many people, but to me, it’s reminiscent of eating “flavored chalk” – although not hard like chalk. It’s actually very “easy” to chew through – almost more like flavored air, hahah. Once you chew, the fruit basically disintegrates in your mouth into almost powder. Add the saliva in your mouth and you get wet powder, which basically just coats your teeth and sticks to everything. Not the most appetizing sensation. Maybe I’m odd and others find eating this type of food fine, so it’s best to try it for yourself to find out.
But there is the rub. This container probably has the equivalent of a few dollars worth of actual fruit at most, so the price is at least ten times the amount you’d pay for fresh fruit, which I’d argue tastes much, much better. The main advantage to this is that it will never go bad, or maybe almost never, and is extremely light to carry with you. Still, if you’re not sure you like this kind of food, you can probably find MUCH cheaper items to try out rather than going for this large and expensive package right off the bat.
The only other thing that I haven’t tried yet is “reconstituting” this by adding water. My guess is that it would produce a wet and soggy version of the original fruit, but this actually might be great for something like oatmeal, or adding to a fruit puree or some such. It’s still not enough of a “use case” for me unless are going to on a trek across Antarctica and really need to optimize every oz of extra weight you take with you, so if that’s your plan, this package might be worth it!

So delicious!! The package was bigger than expected. These are great if you love the real flavor of natural blueberries. We tried them in many different ways, just as snacks, in smoothies, and in pancakes, my god! they are so good! Highly recommend it 🙂

I recently bought this package of fruits and I love the taste. It tastes like real fruit. I mix it in my smoothies and tea. It is also great to eat as is as a snack, for lunch or when I am on the go. I love to have them available and ready to eat at any time. It’s delicious, and convenient.

This was my first experience with freeze-dried fruit so I wasn’t sure how to use them or even what they were all about so I did some research.
Fruits that are freeze-dried are a healthy choice because the process helps them maintain their nutrients.
The bag is full and very very light. It has a shelf life of two years which is awesome.
The freeze-dried fruit doesn’t smell like real fruit. The taste is interesting. I’d say eating them directly from the bag they have a milder taste than fresh fruit, especially the banana. Some have a tangy taste. They also stick in your teeth big time. The blueberries are like air-filled shells.
You can rehydrate them and I tried that. They rehydrated very fast and the fruit had a better taste, however, I found them to be too mushy.
I feel like these would be great in smoothies or a topping for yogurt and maybe cereal.
You get quality and strictly freeze-dried fruit in this bag, however, it is extremely pricey.

I can’t get over how flavorful this is! Imagine the type of fried fruit that comes in the cereal box, but that tastes the same or even better than the fruit itself! The pieces are big and I’ve been enjoying them by the handful but looking forward to adding them to oatmeal, cereal, and smoothies. And the value for the price was actually more than I thought it would be: this will last me months!

Like other reviews, these freeze-dried fruits taste great and the quality is excellent. I did not do pricing research. It seems expensive, but I don’t know what the market price should be at this quality level.
I’ve only had dehydrated fruit as a snack before. Dehydrated fruits that taste good have added sugar and other things. If they don’t, the taste suffers. These freeze-dryed fruits do not have added sugars and taste great.
My biggest complaint is the layering of the fruit. As others mentioned, the bag filled in order from berries, to apples, to bananas. The bag is so full (good thing) that you can’t shake it to mix. I dumped the whole bag in to a large bowl to mix it up and added it back to the bag. Kind of a hassle and messy with red berry powder everywhere.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with these, but they are really good. Everybody in the house loved them, including ALL of the children. A couple of the kids said that the blueberries were a little too tart, but most of us really liked them. I actually like them a lot more than I like normal blueberries. The bag comes nice and full and you get a really good, fairly balanced mix in this bag. As expected you don’t get as many of the blueberries or raspberries as the other fruits, but it is still a good mix. All of the fruits have a good flavor and I love that there is no sugar or anything else added to them! It is always nice to find a healthy and delicious snack. They are great to eat as is, but they are also very versatile and can be used in many other ways. We also like adding these to yogurt and oatmeal. The product page says this has a 25 year shelf life, but the bag says about 2 years, which is still great for fruit. The bag is resealable, so it is easy to keep them fresh. Unfortunately, for me, the current price of $56/bag (25 servings) means I won’t be able to get this one again. I have not price compared to know if this is a reasonable deal, but I guess it does make sense as it is all fruit. Price is relative though, so if the price is good for you, I think this is a great product!

I love starry foods! I just get it and i can’t stop to eat it! It’s a super healthy way to complete my diet and also I don’t need to be stress about this spoiled or lost all the nutrients
I think since today needs to be part of may basics, I can wait to taste other flavors

So many uses – once this bag is open it will be empty soon because the sweet crunch dried berries inside taste good with anything. Added to cereal, yogurt, dessert, trail mix, and just a handful by themselves, this is a delicious treat. The low/no sugar is nice because the fruit is naturally sweet enough. Perfect size bag to add dried fruit to a lot of dishes for some time to come. Will definitely purchase again, great price/size/flavor package.
