I had several surprises with this order and none were good. First, it came in a plastic bag that was laid into the box. This was not a vacuum-sealed bag, either. Second, the beans were very dry – I would almost say dessicated. The result was a very fast roasting time and significantly less flavor than I am accustomed to from other beans I have purchased. On the whole, the impression I have is of someone who bought a batch of beans in bulk and is now reselling them or of someone who is buying discounted/inferior beans from a supplier and reselling them. I will not purchase again.

So my order came 3 oz less. I was ok let me try the flavor since it was rated above average. The flavor is fainted, i almost thought i have covid.

It was a delicious product . My first foray into the world of roasting your own coffee And I must say it did not disappoint the roasting itself was a process that took me some time to get used to but the beans are good quality and once for us to properly make an exquisite flavor . On a sidenote people if you like dark roast coffee normally when buying the cheap stuff I might recommend going for a lighter roast Because with it being fresh you will get way more flavor at a light roast then you would’ve dark the reason that you probably like a dark roast is because so much of the flavor is gone after it’s been sitting on the shelf for a while after roasting

Fast delivery, overall tasty beans when I roasted to full city roast, as well as French roast. My only complaint is the size variations of the beans makes it a little difficult to get a medium or light roast right.

I bought 3 different unroasted coffee beans at the same time Peru, Brazilian, and El Salvador. They all have unique flavors but the Peru and Brazilian are a single bean type, Where as the El Salvador was a mixed bean type, (it has peas, and at least 2 different coffee split beans in it) The flavor of the El Salvador really stood out in a positive way, The box was nice but the Zip lock bag was a big disappointment. They are very fresh beans and I brew a lot of coffee. That said if they are going to save money buy using cheap ass Zip Lock bags they really need to reduce the cost of the beans to compensate.

Wonderful quality raw El Salvador arabica beans for a great cause (read in the listing about strong tower!!). Decent price point comparatively, and would recommend wholeheartedly!

Basically, if you roast your own beans, you can have higher quality coffee for about $7-8 a lb. depending on how dark you roast it. As I roast my beans until they are very dark, I an losing maybe 10% of their original weight but gaining a dark roast flavor. Obviously one can roast them less, and lose less weight.
This is a winner if you like freshly-roasted bean.

first thing that was not good was I opened the box and the beans were in a 1 gallon zip lock bag. The exact same type of storage back I have in my pantry that I buy at my local store. Second thing, I thought I might go ahead and do a roast anyway. there were way too many bad beans to make a good roast. Many, many discolored and/or broken beans. I sent back and will be sure to purchase only from reputable companies.

The package was presented to me in a nice box, with a Ziplock bag. I threw away the shipping carton. I then noticed that the Ziploc Bag holding the coffee was not marked. I sent the seller a note saying that they should have least marked the bag so there customers would know what kind of coffee it was. I said I threw that shipping away and noticed there were no markings on the coffee. The company did reply and told me they were in the process of improving there coffee markings. I told them I had to go back to Amazon and find out which coffee I ordered, because there was no marking on the Ziplock Bag.
The coffee is good coffee. Its more harder to put this in a first stage crack because the beans are very dry .
This Coffee did swell to a larger side, but not much at all first Crack stage.
I really did not see alot of bad beans, but the bean sizes are many from small to large. Some of the beans a small percentange did not want to brown. I never on my last cycle of roasting ever want the beans over 400 degrees. Believe me there are plenty of beans that will start cracking at 380 degrees.
The coffee was at a good price, Even though my feelings on this coffee and my feeling of my own, is this coffee from many coffee fields Some make better larger beans, some do not. Somewhere on the line my feelings only, was some coffee farmer that grew some beans that had a hard time browning.
Everything is mixed in I feel.
Go ahead if you want to experiment with this coffee. Its not bad. But a profesional coffee roaster, would be asking you like, hey whats up with this coffee. Estate coffee producers could give this guy a deal, and there coffee would be better. Green Coffee roasters like all of you, know that single estate coffee is good. They put there whole livelyhood on it.
