This suction pad is a _ton_ of fun to play with (kind of like popping bubble wrap). But it is about as loud as normal bubble wrap, so beware that you could annoy neighbors with it. But that’s not why I got it.
The suckers are fairly shallow/low-profile. That’s nice in that the pad is fairly thin, but it means that they can come unstuck without much effort. Just by itself, the pad won’t hold for very long.
However, all it takes is a little moisture—a wipe with a moist paper towel, etc.—and the grip increases dramatically. I use mine for holding my (waterproof) Kindle on the shower wall, so I can read while I shower. Given the ready moisture, it works great and holds strong. If you were going to use this in a car, or other “dry” environment, you’d probably want an easy way to moisten it before using it, otherwise your device is likely to fall off.

I was excited to take this on the trip. It didn’t stick to the seat back so that was super disappointing. The concept is great though.

I love the fact that this is not permanently stuck to my phone, so I use it optionally instead of having it all the time. I’m planning to use on the airplane to hold it at eye level when watching my videos.
It stays in place and it sticks well to my phone case and to other surfaces on the other side.
Since it’s not permanently glued to your phone, when you detach it from the flat surface, this mount may want to detach from your phone first. Just put a finger on it, and it will come out well.

I’ve purchased a good amount of phone holder for the gym. But this one is it.

Received via Vine in return for my my honest review. The color is very pretty on this with a hint of translucence. I have an iPhone 12 mini with a case that has a clear plastic window on the back and the suctions almost fit inside–I am going to have to trim off a little to get a perfect fit though it would have fit fine without the case which is what I see the younger kids doing. As a chronic phone dropper I can’t take that chance so glad it can be made to work with the right case even if it requires some scissor work. Part of the description said this was sticky pad on one side and suction on the other, but luckily you can believe the photos–the suction is on both sides. Easy to squish on and off (and quite fun). Stuck my phone to the fridge, table, window and mirror without any trouble. Think this will be very useful when using my phone as a kitchen timer or speaker while cooking. Would be an excellent present for a fellow middle-aged person who doesn’t know these exist yet. Very handy to stick your phone up especially for delayed photos on countdown for reunions and get-togethers so everyone is in the shot. It also makes it so I can stick my phone up where it’s visible and not lose it. The suctions are not compatible with sliding in and out of a pocket as easily, so you have to pick your battles. Glad I got!

Strong suction stick! Highly recommend!

I recently bought this suction phone holder and I’m impressed by its strong suction. My phone stays in place or while working at a desk or even sticking to my mirror. Though it occasionally gathers hair, you may have to pick that out occasionally. This phone holder is incredibly convenient, and suctions great onto flat surfaces!

The suction on this thing is really strong! It suctions to literally anything! One thing to be aware of if you have a case with a design on the back it might not attach to it as strong as it should!

Waste of money, does not hold my phone to a surface long enough. Gave it to my child to use.

This is such a good idea. I use mine in the morning to talk to my son while I am getting ready or to watch the news. It sticks well to my mirror. I found that after a day in my pocket, it won’t stick without washing the cups off. I just remove it and rinse it off. My friend has something similar except hers sticks to her phone with adhesive. I don’t like that. There are times I don’t want this on my phone, and I can easily remove it. If you want a suction cup holder for your phone, this is the one to get.
My son has a smooth case but something about the finish won’t let this stick. I have no problem with my TPU case so YMMV.
