I purchased these compostable food bags to replace others that I used to have that had no handles, so were difficult to tie. These never split, as the other ones sometimes did, hold a large volume, and are just the best!

The product was shipped and deliverred promptly and is exactly the type that is acceptable for use in California. The handle ties are really handy – and were the main reason I chose this product – and make it very easy to tie up the bag of food waste before disposing of it. The bag is a little bigger than the Simple Human detachable Compost bin I use, but again, it’s easy to tie the handles a bit then stretch it onto the liner in the compost bin and all fits very neatly.
I really like their dispenser box – it’s sturdy – the slit for dispensing a bag is convenient and well placed, and each bag is perforated at the bottom and already mostly separated so dispensing a bag and detaching it from the next bag is very easy. Good design overall in my opinion.
After food waste has been in the bag for a day or two – or four (!), there does seem to be some leakage, but I think it’s actually more that the bag has already started to decompose and it’s NOT really leaking. Reminder to self – empty the food waste more often.

I keep a bowl on my counter for kitchen trash and like to put a plastic grocery sack in it to keep it clean. When the sack is full I tie it closed and put it in my regular trash. My favorite grocery store is no longer giving out free bags so I bought these as a replacement. They work really well, are strong and just the right size. I like that they compost so I am not adding to the plastic disaster. They dispense nicely from the box and have no odor. Great bags.

We just began a composting program in our neighborhood, and these little composting bags are perfect for our countertop container! I love the long handles so we can tie them shut easily!

I really like these bags they are sturdy. I can put a lot of waste in it and tied it up and it never leaks. This is a very good quality biodegradable bag.

So far these bags are the best compostable bags I’ve used. My city now requires food scraps and what not into the green bin, so these are nice and durable to keep in a little container each week. They don’t tear or start to fall apart like some of the other bags i used in the past. We also use them for cleaning kitty litter and they are often stronger than plastic take out bags! Only annoying thing is sometimes they’re hard to open. Just takes a bit of time to get used to it.

I have used these bags for several weeks now with our combustible trash container in the house. They are sturdy and have had no issues. They fit perfectly in the counter container.

This bag is very sturdy and can hold at least a week’s supply of food scraps. I kept it in the refrigerator for a week until it was processed at our collection point. It did not leak at all.

Since 2022, we were required by our Sanitation Department here in Los Angeles to separate all food and produce trash to be placed into the green bin formerly only for grass and plant cuttings. Tried other brands of green bags from our local grocery store but most of them leaked. This one is perfect – no leaks, sturdy and the handles are perfect because you can tie the bags easily and seal the stink of spoiling food. And the best part, they are compostable which is part of the requirement of the Sanitation Dept. It feels good that my household is contributing to the effort to save our planet.
