I’ll sum up by asking myself why I continue to purchase bagged, ready to eat, cut “lettuce”. Fresh constantly sells for home delivery far too much bagged produce items with Use By dates of <5 days. Hidden inside the middle of every bag will be found slimy, rotting, yellow and/or black or otherwise inedible lettuces.

Spinach leaves were very fresh after two days in the refrigerator. Only discarded two baby leaves. Made a fresh salad, stems removed, tossed with Amazon’s shredded cheddar cheese and Wish-Bone’s Light Parmesan Peppercorn Ranch dressing. Altogether, my salad was very good. Felt healthy after eating it.
