I had some doubts about buying this product after reading some of the reviews, but decided to but a set and give them a quick test to see if they passed. The first thing I noticed is that the fit was tight, not loose as others have suggested. My tests were conducted on a desktop that is several years old, but it has some USB- 3 slots. I set up a tandem arrangement to a SanDisk Ultra thumb drive containing several video files with a combined size of 51.5 GB. The tandem arrangement was USB thumb drive -> USB A to C adapter -> USB C to A adapter -> desktop USB 3 slot. File copy time to my HDD was 51 minutes. I removed both adapters and plugged the USB thumb drive directly into the same USB computer slot and repeated the test. Again, file copy time to my HDD was 51 minutes. Any slowness is due to my own hardware, not the adapters I purchased.

I carry these with me everywhere, because I toggle between my cell phone and Surface Pro and laptop frequently, so trying to use peripheral devices with these devices, tends to have different connections.
These adapters fit the bill, in order to use USB-A or USB-C drives, along with certain keyboards, mice, instruments, and audio devices/interfaces.
So definitely recommend these for toggling between different platforms (Droid, Windows, et cetera).

These adapters are well made and they work. Would be nice if they had some texture for better grip when removing. They fit tightly, and don’t easily come out, which is good for the connection, but not so good when removing them due to the smooth texture.

These solve the nagging problems associated with moving from USB-A to USB-C. No problems. They’re durable, and best of all, the small foam-fitted box lets you keep them all together instead of being loose.

Simple adapter the size of a paper clip enables the charging of new iPhones that have USB-C ports with existing lightning cables and existing charging devices. No need to buy new “bricks”. These adapters even allow connectivity to PC’s for iTunes and, wait for this, wired Car Play connection in your vehicle. They do not work with wired headphones, but that’s minor compared to the other critical needs. I’m over the top happy with this purchase. They seem to be well made. I will probably get more of them.

I recently changed my iphone to the latest version and since Apple changed the charging port from lightning to usb C, I was left with only one cable to charge my phone and a dozen of older cables around the house. So instead of replacing all the cables I decided to buy this adaptor – many of them. So now I can charge my phone using all my othe older cables without a problem. I bought this product several times, as I had to share them with my family. Seriously, we have a lot of charging cables. By the way, it does not work with wired Earpods. It says so in the specifications, but it’s important to note.

This was nice to have when I needed some flexibility with my chargers. They work as intended. But it looks like they charge my devices a bit slower than usual and they got a little hot to the touch.
