I recently purchased The ConfiDental pack of 5 moldable mouth guards, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The pack includes 3 regular and 2 heavy-duty guards, providing options for different needs and preferences.
The moldable feature makes it easy to customize the fit for maximum comfort and protection against teeth grinding, clenching, and bruxism. Additionally, these mouth guards are versatile, suitable for sports activities, athletic use, and even whitening trays.
The quality of the material feels durable and long-lasting, offering peace of mind knowing that my teeth are well-protected. The pack of 5 ensures that I always have a spare on hand, and the included storage case keeps them clean and organized.
Overall, I highly recommend The ConfiDental mouth guards to anyone in need of reliable teeth protection for various purposes. They provide excellent value for money and have become an essential part of my dental care routine.

Okay, so I recently discovered my problem with clenching my jaw when I’m stressed has turned into teeth grinding at night. I ordered these because there were multiples, and two different kinds of mouth guards included.
First of all, the instructions are vague. I mean SUPER vague on the insert. You can scan a QR code that sends a Facebook message on your behalf to the company. The poor soul on the other end sends you a video for the instructions… They could not have picked a stiffer, more awkward dude to do the video.
Second, when it comes to spending my money, I don’t like to ballpark stuff. There’s a finite number of mouth guards, I don’t want to mess them up. The person in the messenger chat would not tell me the temperature the water needs to be to correctly form the guard without ruining it or my pot. They gave me a number of minutes to wait after pulling my pot off the burner. My stove is older than my husband, there’s no way that advice works. So I went to work figuring it out myself.
You want your water to be within the 160°F-165°F range for both mouth guards. The heavy duty one will be submerged slightly longer. The heavy duty guards are also shorter than the regular clear ones. You should also know they’re hella sticky when they’re fresh out of the pot.
Third, and most annoyingly… They ask you to send pictures to their person over FB to see if it’s in right. I declined, I have had to do this for sports with my brother as kids so I know what I’m doing. However no wasn’t sufficient. They kept insisting they would be waiting for my pictures, multiple times. I wasn’t rude to the person, it’s just their job, but that’s not normal and I didn’t appreciate it at all. I ended up blocking them on messenger for fear they would keep asking. No means no.
They work well enough, though. My TMJ pain has lessened since I started using them. I’m not sure if I want to buy them again, though.

I recently purchased this mouth guard for my son to use during wrestling practice and competitions, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed. What sets this product apart is the exceptional customer support and the detailed instructions provided. The mouth guard comes with a helpful video guide via messenger app that offers a step-by-step process for molding it to ensure a comfortable fit. Not to mention, there’s a live representative available at all times to assist if needed, which is a fantastic bonus. The first attempt at molding wasn’t perfect because the water wasn’t hot enough, resulting in some issues with it not molding all his teeth. However, the second time around, we nailed it. After boiling the water, we let the mouthpiece sit for a minute until it softened slightly, then had my son place it in his mouth, pressing it down onto his teeth. The beauty of this mouth guard is that you can retry the molding process with the same mouthpiece. The second attempt was a great, and my son found it very comfortable and secure during his activities. But what truly makes this product shine is the outstanding customer care provided by Natalie. She went above and beyond to ensure we were following the steps correctly. She even requested a photo to verify the molding process. Remarkably, she replied to my messages promptly, even on a Sunday at 6 am, which is truly remarkable customer service.
In my opinion, this company deserves more than 5 stars. If anyone is rating this product lower, they might be doing something incorrectly. I’m so pleased with this mouth guard that I plan to buy more for my family, and I’ll even get one for myself to combat my teeth grinding issue at night. Highly recommended!

I bought this over a year ago and finally decided to use it because my dentist said my sensitive teeth may be the result of grinding my teeth at night. I had previously been too lazy to go through the molding process, but it turned out to be very easy. There’s a video on their website and on youTube. When I registered I received messages on Facebook Messenger from their customer service. It was nice that they were determined to make sure I had molded the guard correctly.
I’ve used it four nights. Funny how it was coming off in my sleep, but then I’d put it back in and it’d stay there for the second half of the night…almost like it was trying to escape then finally resigned itself to staying imprisoned in my mouth. I mentioned this to the customer rep on Messenger and was assured that this was normal until I get used to it.
Besides protecting my teeth, I can also put some Miracle II 7X gel in it which I’ve heard helps tighten the gums. We shall see if that works since my upper gums occasionally bleed.

The instructions were a little vague regarding the temperature of the water, but thankfully a lot of the other reviews mentioned specific temps. Here’s how I did it:
I brought water to boil in a small pan, and took it off as soon as it started to boil. I poured it into a small glass container so I could see better and immediately stuck a thermometer in. I waited about 4 minutes until the temp dropped to 165°F and dropped the mouth guard in. I held it completely submerged with a spoon. The edges never turned in like the instructions mentioned, but I could see the spoon starting to meld into it so I wet my fingers and took it out and it was pretty flimsy and pliable. Stuck it in my mouth and pushed around like the instructions stated while biting down gently. After about a minute of doing this I took it out and put it in cold water for a few seconds. Worked like a charm.
Wearing it at night time was comfortable aside from my lips not being able to close around it. I’m not used to sleeping with my mouth open so that took some getting used to. But holy cow does it make a HUGE difference in my sleep! I slept all through the night and was actually well rested when I woke up for the first time in years. No headache, no tooth or jaw pain. It was wonderful

So I have TMJ. And my jaw tends to hurt a lot. So I decided to try a night guard, instead of going and getting the expensive one from the dentist I had started with this. It is pretty inexpensive for what it is. And if you can’t afford the big one this is a good route to go.
Now the box came with a whole bunch of different ones and I don’t know why I would need so many right away. But that’s okay. Now in order to get the instructions and stuff I had to look at a website and then they had you talk to a chat person. All of which was fine. The video actually made it easy to follow along and actually get the molding of the mouthguard correct.
All I had to do was get some boiling water and I what I did is I filled my teapot and got that to a light boil and I put it into a bowl and then was able to work from there. So after you get your hot water then you put your mouth guard in and you wait for the top to curl just slightly and then you pull that out and you form it to your mouth and then once it’s formed to your mouth you should be good to go. The chat people ask for a picture of it to make sure that it that it went right or if you had any issues with it. They were actually very helpful. My mouth guard was very easily molded to my mouth and I did it right the first time. Now because it is a just a standard mouth guard mine was a little bit too big for my mouth so I had to cut the extra off. And that seemed to be okay for me.
So I slept with it the first night and I woke up three times to take it out and then put it back in because it was really hurting my jaw and then the next day the chat people checked in to see how my sleep went and it was a terrible experience for me that first night.
Now part of me wanted to give up on it completely because it was terrible, but then I went well maybe it was my jaw adjusting. So I gave it another go, and actually my second night I slept really well. And now I’m to that point where when I don’t have my mouth guard my jaw hurts.
My only thing with giving this a four star Is that yes my mouth guard is helping me. Yes it was super easy to get it molded to my teeth. And yes it is super helping me. However the inside that touches the roof of my mouth leaves like a weird feeling like there’s the ends up being like a small gap and it I end up having a sore spot in the morning on the top of my mouth It does go away during the day but it is still frustrating to have that just because of that extra material on the mouthguard. And that is one of the parts that I cut because it was too big and by feeling is that it is still too big but I can’t really cut down much more just because of the weird angle for being able to cut.
But because I have been sleeping so much better with the mouthguard I have decided to go to the dentist and get a fitting to get a better one so I can avoid having that weird part on the roof of my mouth.
But if you can’t do that or you just don’t want to do that or you want to test it out like I did before getting an actual one this set was a really helpful set for me.

This mouthguard is a lot less expensive than some others Ive looked at. I haven’t tried the expensive ones, but this does the job.
I want to talk about the customer service. When I say they are dedicated to making absolutely sure that your mouth guard fits correctly, I cannot express how dedicated. There is a video. It is so thorough, it’s almost comical ( in a good way). There is a text chat also. Here is where they ask a lot of questions to make sure you understand the process and then afterwards, again, to make sure everything is right. You have to experience everything to fully understand. I guarantee that you will be able to fit your mouth guard if you watch the video and talk to the support. You will be an expert by the end of it all. So, with a lot of companies out there that just wanna sell, it’s refreshing to find one that wants it to be absolutely right.

After purchasing mouthguards from the dentist for $350.00, then other mail-order professionally made mouthguards for $150.00, and the over-the-counter ones for $20-$40. This product was just under $20.00 and it is the best I have ever used. And wonderful that the manufacturer puts 3 firmer and 2 softer guards in one box. Simple to mold and the most comfortable of the ones I have used. And I have had very little adjusting after removing the mouthguard in the morning. For others, it took about 10-15 mins for my jaw to adjust and it could be very uncomfortable. I highly recommend this product. Just don’t overheat when warming to set the mold.

⚠️The following is NOT medical advice, it is ONLY my personal experience and opinion. Please consult a licensed medical professional prior to using any over the counter medical or dental device!⚠️
I bought this Night Guard on 06/2021, and it is still going strong even w/my biting it, chewing, and grinding on it pretty regularly.
I bought this Night Guard (NG), because I was tired of waking up with teeth intentions in my tongue, and tongue pain from what felt like my almost biting my tongue through while I slept! Ugh! I had previously spoken with a Dentist who recommended I use a Night Guard (NG), and then proceeded to charge me an arm and a leg to ‘custom’ fit one for me. Only to have that NG not last very long, only a few months, before my consistent use broke through the silicon and it become unusable. I have since learned from use of other NG’s, that the silicon was just too thin to hold up to my biting, grinding while asleep.
Note: IF You are new to using NG’s then it may take you a while to get used to sleeping with a foreign object in Your mouth. Yes, it may not stay in your mouth the entire night, but that does NOT mean it isn’t helping You (see my comments below about my own experiences with the NG not remaining in place through out the night/my sleep.) At least give the NG (whichever one You chose), a good month of consistent use, before You decide to throw Your hands up and that it isn’t working for you, or it is something too uncomfortable for You to use when You sleep.
By uncomfortable, I mean having an object in your mouth, I do NOT mean discomfort when the NG is in Your mouth, if You experience discomfort from where the NG touches Your teeth or gums, then the NG needs to be recustomized! You need to go back through the reheat customization process, and recustomize the NG’s “Fit”. However, if You feel generally uncomfortable, because You have a foreign object in Your mouth, then I recommend that You just continue to stick to it, and keep using the NG, as You will likely get used to the NG over time (the length of time differs per person, from my conversations with others who also have used NG’s.).
However, IF You have a deviated septum, snore loudly, and/or snore or wake often during sleep due to interruptions in Your breathing pattern, have sleep apnea, or any other difficulty breathing while sleeping at night, then do NOT use a NG without FIRST consulting Your Physician!! As NG’s are NOT recommended for people with breathing issues during sleep!! since the NG may exacerbate/worsen your breathing issues or potentially cause You to unintentionally choke!! So, speak to Your Licensed Medical Practitioner before using a NG to ensure that You can safely use one with Your medical condition!
🔹HOW TO CUSTOMIZE, CLEAN & STORE:
This night guard is EASY to
CUSTOMIZE, You simply boil about a cup, a cup and a half of water, (just enough water to cover the night guard when it is submerged in whatever container you plan to put it in while ‘warming’ it), wait for the water to cook from boiling hot to warm (just hotter than comfortable to stick your finger in it, maybe 5min?, If the water ends up too cool, just take the night guard out, place it on a paper towel and reheat the water and try again), when the NG is sufficiently warm, it will become pliable (you can easily bend it, etc.), wait until it is cool enough You can put it in your mouth without burning yourself, then place the NG into Your mouth and bite down on it, to impress Your teeth impression into the silicon of the NG. Do NOT bite down so hard that You bite through the NG (or bite the NG super thin) as that would defeat the purpose. You are aiming for a customized “FIT”, and NOT to bite through it! Plus, if any part of the NG is uncomfortable when customizing or later after using, You can simply reheat it and redo the customization process. If You still have issues, then You can reheat the NG, and using a few handy kitchen or toolbox tools, You should be able to press, push, and/or possibly cut (though I do not recommend cutting it, that’s just a last resort, as cutting it would likely void any warranty and replacement by the manufacturer), and You should be able to smoosh/squash any uncomfortable piece down/into submission and a more comfortable placement.
Once Customized be sure to store Your NG in the Blue Container that comes with it, after use.
You can clean it regularly by soaking it in Efferdent or another over the counter denture cleaner. Be sure completely dry before storing.
MATERIAL:
I have used other NG’s and this one is comparable. Like many others, this NG is made of clear silicon that becomes pliable in warm to hot water. The hotter the water, the more pliable, (so make sure the water isn’t so hot that it totally loses it’s shape!, as that would ruin it!)
COST+VALUE:
The cost of this NG is definitely a point of value considering how much dental offices charge for customized NG’s, which is typically an outrageous amount! Also, when compared to other NG’s sold online, I found this NG to be reasonably priced at the time it was purchased.
QUALITY/DURABILITY:
I can’t speak of others, but I do not use my NG every night. I tend to only use it when I wake up and find that I have again bitten down on my tongue hard enough to leave deep teeth impressions. Then I start using the NG for a few nights, and inevitably I stop using it again, not intentionally, I just forget, and the cycle repeats. However, having said that, the NG has held up very well considering I purchased it 7 months ago. AND, not only do I tend to bite down HARD or Grind my teeth HARD at night, but I also tend to bite chew/grind my NG when it is in my mouth even BEFORE, I fall asleep. A bad habit, but it is kind of a habit. My point being that even after seven (7 months), this NG is still going strong. I haven’t needed to reheat it and reshape it, nor has the NG’s silicon broken through even after all my biting, chewing, grinding consistent abuse.
RECOMMENDATION & RESULTS:
I would definitely recommend this NG for anyone who is in need of a NG to stop biting, or grinding their teeth while sleeping or who has been advised to use a NG as padding between their teeth at night while sleeping to ease Templar Mandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) pain the next morning.
While my own NG does NOT tend to stay in place through out the entire night, the NG does somehow keep me from leaving deep and painful teeth impressions in my tongue, so apparently it remains in place long enough for my subconscious to get the message while I sleep and for me NOT to bite my tongue so hard or grind my teeth all night.
For the price (whatever it may be), and the results, in my opinion, this NG is definitely “worth it” to try it for yourself. Good Luck & I hope You find this NG as helpful for Your own condition as I found it for mine.
