I have had one cup of coffee in my life so I am hardly one to rate a coffee product. I saw the Pioneer Woman demonstrating how to make coffee concentrate for daily iced coffee and thought I would try drinking iced coffee. I have made her recipe weekly for 6 months with success. Then I came across Trader Joe’s Coffee Concentrate and thought I would give it a try since I am a huge fan of Trader Joe products. It was good and convenient, but again, I am far from a coffee connoisseur. We I am near a TJ’s, I will purchase more.

I bought this because I was out of Javy and waiting on my auto shipment. I bought this as something to use until my Javy came. I’ll never buy this again. It’s basically un-drinkable. I used to be a batista. I’m not talking about at a Starbucks either. I was a true batista before I became disabled. This is a waste of money for my.. I’ll end up throwing it out because it’s so awful. I make iced breves everyday at home and the only thing different is this compared to Javy. I’ll never switch again. I’d rather go to McDonald’s and get a coffee than to buy this again. Just awful.

This product tastes great and, because it is concentrated, each 32 oz. bottle makes 12- 8oz. cups of coffee. It is convenient and very well priced; about $1.50/cup, whereas coffee shops or juice bars usually charge close to $4. Cold Brewed Coffee is close to 70% less acidic than regularly brewed coffee (even if you are like me and heat up your cold brew before drinking it!), which means the taste is smoother and is a lot easier on your system. It is easy to brew your own, but it takes 24 hours, and again, because this is concentrated, I know how much I need for a cup and can easily bring with me just a small container of the concentrate and add water when I get to work, great midday pick-me-up! I will continue to order this!

If your into ice coffee, this is the starter for you. You will never pay for that expensive ice coffee that you have to wait in line for again. Make your own better ice coffee in the comfort of your own kitchen.

I was not able to dilute this 1:1. I like strong coffee and used 3/4 C. coffee to 1 C. water

I had donated my Keureg which I never used. As I had company that needed morning coffee, I purchased the cold brew. It was great for her and good in my lattes

I used it to make an frozen coffee, even though it was mixed with milk and ice it had a bitter taste. Was not smooth.
