I’ve used this brand of chili garlic sauce for many years and it is great for many food applications if your are into spicy the way I am. I really like mixing this sauce with sour cream for making a spicy dipping sauce for Mexian foods.
And I’m very happy that Amazon has this product availble as it disappeared from the grocery stores. Great stuff.

The flavour is great. The price can get high due to supply issues. This is a lot online about what the company did to the farm they used to get their chilies from and why there was a shortage and price spike.

Taste wonderful!!! Love this stuff! Bang for your buck though, not so much! Small size with big price! Had to purchase because our local grocery store ran out! Temperature is 5 out of 10 based off my tolerance. Quality is wonderful! Tastes great!!! But cost is high!!

This has always been my favorite chili sauce but is hard to find due to a bad red chili season. I tried another brand and threw it out!
I looked for Huy Fong again because there is reportedly another shortage coming. OMG is this stuff good with my homemade shumai! I will never buy anything but Huy Fong again! Thanks Amazon!

There is just no comparison between Huy Fong sambal and the others I’ve tried. It is the very best, and that’s the only reason I bought it on Amazon. Can’t find it in stores since the shortage. The problem is the shipping/packaging. Whoever is poking 6 of these bottles in an unpadded Priority Mail box is wasting food! Mine arrived with a crushed box which had sambal leaked from being mashed. The seals had been popped on several of them. This product is already hard to find, and wasting even one bottle makes me angry. Do better.
