Persian Limes are a must in every kitchen. Since they are preserved, their concentrated lime scent that is sweet and slightly fermented is mainly concentrated on their outer skins and seeds. These dry limes are used whole, sliced, or ground, as a spice in Middle Eastern dishes. They bring amazing sour notes to soups, stews, and long-cooked dishes without losing their acidic characteristics.

I bought this to make ghormeh sabzi. These limes are SO fragrant! I made tea from them, also, which is delicious.

I’m very happy with these dried limes. I had previously purchased them from another seller and those limes were harder and not as fresh. These have wonderful aroma and taste and are delicious in the dishes I’ve prepared. I recently used them in a marinade for chicken wings (from the cookbook Sababa), pictured here. I will definitely order again!

These limes are very good quality. They smell wonderful and tasted great in our Persian cuisine.

We live in Florida and have our own Key lime tree that yields plenty of fresh limes through the year. But I found the idea of a dried lime product intriguing, so we tried it. So far we used it in a soup (poked holes in one whole lime as instructed and threw it in the broth) and crushed some into a seafood sauce. Both times the results were very pleasant, although I cannot say these “Persian Limes” have some super strong flavor over what we’re used to with our own.
BUT – I think this product has a major advantage for cooks in areas that fresh limes are hard to get or are seasonally expensive, or just for the simple convenience that you need to add lime flavor and don’t have any on-hand. These seem to keep for a very long time dry-and-all in your pantry. Our fresh limes last a week or a bit more, then have to be thrown out since they rot. These dried ones are available anytime…

These are surprisingly strong tasting and delicious to me. The dried insides can be used for cooking, sprinkled on food, or just eaten as is. I tried breaking up a lime and soaking it in water for a day to see if I would get some lime flavor in the liquid. WOW! It was really strong. I think it’s the natural oils in the rind that take it over the top. Next time, I’ll do it with just the insides.
I’m not a fan of bottled lemon or lime juices. They just don’t taste right. Fresh fruit is hard to keep if you don’t use it all that often. These dried limes are just what I needed to keep strong lime flavor available in my kitchen.

We used these limes to add a nice pop of color and flavor to our rice and other mediterrainean dishes. It adds a nice flavor and color payout. I would recommend adding it to the top of your dish and place back in the oven when theres only 10-15 minutes of cooktime left!

If you’re looking for a way to add some zing to your life, look no further than Persian limes.
These little green fruits may not look like much on the outside, but on the inside, they’re bursting with flavor. One bite into a juicy Persian lime, and your taste buds will be transported to a whole new level of citrusy goodness.
I love using Persian limes in all sorts of dishes. They add a bright and refreshing pop of flavor to everything from guacamole to fish tacos to cocktails. And let me tell you, there’s nothing quite like the taste of a cold Persian lime margarita on a hot summer day.
But the best part about these limes is how versatile they are. They work equally well in sweet and savory dishes, and they’re perfect for adding a little zip to anything that needs a kick of flavor.
And let’s not forget about the health benefits of Persian limes. They’re packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and other nutrients that can help boost your immune system and keep you feeling your best.
So if you’re looking for a way to add some flavor and nutrition to your life, give Persian limes a try. Whether you’re cooking up a storm in the kitchen or just squeezing a little lime juice into your water, these little fruits are sure to brighten up your day.

I love using them with seafood. They are really nice and aromatic. The package is resealable and great to reuse.

These Persian limes smell heavenly! We love making tea with them, just crack it a little open, we didn’t even take out the seeds and then soak it in hot water, it gives off an exquisite aroma to the tea, and even our kitchen smells so nice and refreshing!
We also like to use them in stews, they add a subtle tangy flavor and bring out a distinct aroma, it is like a secret ingredient and always makes the stew special.
There are 29 limes in my bag and they all look good and clean, packed with flavor, and the quality is superb!
I sincerely hope that you would find this review helpful.
