I have had other brands of ‘beef sticks’ in the past in this flavor and I enjoy them on the trail. I’m not picky so I figured it would be an easy thing to order online in quality but I was wrong. The texture and taste are both disappointing, I don’t know if I can eat anymore of them.

I’m generally not a fan of cheese-stuffed sausage or hot dogs, but I do like jalapeno flavored meat sticks so I decided to give these Wenzel’s Farm Jalapeno Cheddar Sticks a shot… and they’re absolutely delicious, my immediate favorite! I’ve been buying a LOT of different brands and flavors of meat sticks lately (lots of sampler packs!) because I’m trying to eat higher protein snacks instead of carb-based snacks. Wenzel’s Farm overall ranks among the best of the best, right up there with Western’s Smokehouse, my other favorite brand.

I like spicy heat, but don’t need a challenge/ the hiccups; these are perfect balance of flavor and heat….your lips and tongue will feel the burn for a bit afterward, but they are so good–especially in a good bloody mary!

I first found these in a local convenience store and found them online. Latos of great flavors, but the Jalapeno is by far my favorite. Great flavor, actually taste both jalapeno and cheese which is great. So many products fall flat with their “advertised flavor”, not the case here. Love the fact that you can see larger chunks of cheese! There is a bit of heat, just enough to let you know it’s there, but not overwhelming, for me anyway. Highly recommend, price is right.

The snack sticks are amazing and I love them. So 5 stars for the product. However, Amazon shipped this in a bubble wrap envelope and and the box was smashed…. thankfully it’s not breakable. 1 star for shipping.

It’s got really good flavor and spice. It tastes like a natural type of heat instead of a chemical type if that makes sense. Not knock you out heat, but just the right amount of jalapeno type heat.

Love the flavor of these. Definitely has a lingering heat but absolutely delicious. Costco was out of Jack Links so I ordered these off Amazon. Was not disappointed. Will be ordering again
