Had not bought this brand before and was disappointed because these tomatoes were overly ripe upon arrival and after 3 days were too soft to eat as fresh produce. So one went into my compost bin and the other into a small pot of pasta sauce. Will only order the Beefsteak tomatoes from now on – they have never disappointed by being over-ripe.

A bit over/ripe but good if you ate it that day. Almost rotten. Examine all purchases. Sadly you can’t refund this stuff. They expect you in a crime city to go to your Wholefiods ( where there is no police security) and spend 2 hours returning it and possibly getting robbed of your purse. Not security in the Whole Foods parking lots. Or at doors. They won’t just take your word it is a bit rotten.

Ok so everyone is complaining they’re not ripe or have any flavor so all you have to do is take them out of the container and set them on your counter. They will ripen up to a nice juicy red and then they’re delicious. They taste like tomatoes are supposed to. For store bought tomatoes these are a keeper!

I would say A Beefsteak makes a tomato closer to vegetable than Roma.

These tomatoes were the perfect size to slice and add to a sandwich with cheese or bacon! Fresh and so tasty. The packaging of two tomatoes was perfect for me, as well.

I bought these and used one of them and somehow forgot about the other til time to clean out the fridge a MONTH LATER – a MONTH ! IT WAS STILL FIRM, BEAUTIFUL COLOR, etc. I don’t know whether I should’ve used it, but I didn’t. Just had to let you know how long it hung around
