While trying to get away from plastic bags I found these food savers. The concept is simple, only the unpeeled part of the fruit or vegetable is covered and therefore protected from air. They come in different sizes for different types of food. My only complaint is I can’t find avocados big enough to fit the avocado sized cover!

These don’t really seal around your produce at all. Air still gets in and turns your produce soft and brown

Very nice. Saves on plastic wrap and has enough various sizes to use for almost everything. Easy clean up.

I’m a little underwhelmed with these. I use reusable silicone ziplock bags for cut onions and other half gone things anyway, so these don’t offer me anything beyond that. I do like the idea of stretching them over containers though.

I love everything W&P, and this help keep my produce fresher so much longer than I’m used to. Huge fan that they’re reusable and they wash like a dream!

I’m all for reusable items and was excited to try these. They fit a variety of circular items and are tough but stretchy. They work best when the cut side is flat, but I just needed a few slices of lemon and it still fit. I like how easily they wash up and nest when storing so the don’t take up much drawer space.

These are similar to the produce savers you can get at IKEA, although they are slightly different in shape. It works just as well, and it’s nice that it comes in various sizes that you could put on anything, not just the size of the item they claim. Also, the avocado is interesting because it is shaped like an avocado. However, everything else is in a ram shape, so you can still wrap it around things that are not around, but it will automatically form and fit around whatever you need.

W&P reusable produce savers come in a set of 7, in 7 different sizes. I have been using them to cover my onions and lemons. I am impressed that my lemons and onions will last longer. When the produce saver is on I can not smell them either!!
The produce savers are made of silicone, this reusable eco-friendly products, are convenient, and are easy to clean by hand. When not used, they take very little space in my kitchen drawer. As their box states: simply states “cover, clean, repeat” which translates — reduction of foil and wrap usage, extending the life of my veggies, reducing my trash and saving money!! I am very happy with this product

If you’re like me, your refrigerator is full of many half things. Half an avocado, half an onion, half a tomato etc. Sometimes I cover them with plastic wrap, but more often than not, I can’t be bothered, and they end up drying out or turning brown.
I ordered these because I hoped that they would be easier to use than plastic wrap. Plastic wrap, for some reason, always seems to stick to itself more than it sticks to the object I need it to. If you put fruit and things in plastic containers, you run the same risk of oxidization.
After using these, I like them, but not as much as I thought I would. Since they are in a predetermined size/shape it helps if the object you are wrapping up is the same otherwise you are going to have similar issues with plastic containers. For things that fit nicely, I will use these. For all other things, I’ll still be reaching for the cling film.

these are awesome! they’ve saved me from single use items and are so much easier to use. they just slip on and create a nice seal and when i’m done, i can just throw them in the dishwasher! 10/10 absolutely recommend
