The feel of it was great but mine arrived smelling as if it was already turning rancid.

This unrefined shea butter has a mild scent that blends well with the Amber and Dragon’s Blood fragrance oils. It’s easy to work – I mix it with apricot kernel oil and it holds its final texture. My feet stay soft for seseral days after application. I am rating it now because I am buying it again.

Got this for making beard balm. It works well, melts easy and softens everything it touches. Be fair warned that there is a nut smell to it. It’s not much but it is there and it does linger. The plus side is that it can be covered by a scent and might even add to the smell. Worth it for the price

I use this for making several skin care items at home. It is very clean and good quality. It melts nicely and mixes well with other ingredients. I am pleased with this shea butter and will buy from them again.

This Shea butter melts easily in a double boiler and mixes well with other ingredients if you’re making your own moisturizers. Occasionally I’ll get some that is a little grainy, (I’m a repeat buyer) but that’s just because I didn’t melt it all the way or keep it heated long enough. It’s not fool proof but nothing is. As far as being pure and clean Shea Butter at a fair price, these folks at Yellow Brick Road do a good job.
