It tasted great and I was very pleased with quality, but I would warn all first-time pine-nuts eater to be very careful with how much you eat for the first time. Start with just one nut or a few and see how your body reacts because I had horrible reaction yesterday.
I have never eaten pine nuts in my life, and I did for the first time yesterday. Within 10 minutes of eating some handful of pine nuts, my throat started to get very itchy from inside. Within two hours, my face and body turned very red, all over my body was itching from inside out and I was getting very bad stomachache, which caused me to panic and I eventually took antihistamine and the itch was gone, but it was very scary experience.

I don’t think I will buy it next time. I am a big fan of these nuts. But the partially removed skin/membrane( brown layer on the nuts) is chewy. it gets on your teeth and becomes chewy. I had a better product before.

I love these pine nuts, they are good sized, fresh, soft and flavorful.
They are great on salads, in green beans, and on my morning bagels with cream cheese and herbs.
You get a generously sized 2 lb bag for the price, which lasts me quite a while for my needs. Great value and product overall.
