This size ziplock is essential in my kitchen. It saves room over rigid containers, I can see the contents, and it holds a lot. I make waffles in big batches, freeze 4 in a ziplock…plenty for 1-2 servings. I seem to always end up with leftovers from a meal, and I prefer to refrigerate or freeze them to use later. With one side of the ziplock top being blue and taller than the other side, it is fairly easy to open. The price is good, and I like the bigger box.

I like these becasue they are incredibly sturdy and seal well. Hold up well in the freezer. If you are careful, you can turn them inside out, wash and reuse. Just be sure to turn the sealed sides with care, or they will tear along the seam and not be so leak proof. When that happens to me, they get relegated to the garage for a last use.

I store meat in these in the freezer and they work well. I also use them for sous vide cooking. The bags are durable, and seal air tight using only the water displacement method.
