It was very nice but did arrive with slightly bent blade and has some tarnish marks. This however does not interfere with using it but I could not give it as a gift in this condition.

While it works fine for letters, it struggles with tape from packages and other things like that. It’s not sharp and it bends easily. For the price though, it’ll open letters

I dont use this for a letter opener. I have a lot of pets that require coconut fibre substrate, and this is great for stabbing apart compressed bricks of the stuff without getting it all over my hands. It bends easily if you put too much pressure on it, but then again it is metal and its not the thickest so its about as study as you would expect. I also use it for prying things open and it seems to do a pretty decent job of that without bending. Overall if youre just gonna use it for a letter opener, good choice.

Nice feel and easy to slice envelops open but it’s pretty hefty. So it takes space in the drawer.

It is a perfect addition to the home office. The letter opener is sleek, finely wrought, quite handsome, well balanced and perfect for the job at hand. Best of all, however, is the family photo printed on the packaging.
If you look closely in the corner at the end of the couch you will see the family pet, which looks to be a very handsome and i believe loving Springer Spaniel. Thank you so much. Maybe i will get a letter tomorrow.

I ordered the Letter opener so I could quit using a pocket knife to open my letters/mail. it has a good, comfortable grip to hold

It’s absolutely gorgeous but I mainly love this letter opener for its great functioning in the art of opening a letter or any envelope large or small. Its extra long and sturdy cutting blade (sword) is far more efficient than any other opener I’ve purchased. This makes it a joy to use and it looks very rich proudly displayed on my desk at my business. I have just ordered a 2nd one for my home. It’s definately worth the price.
