The arm is heavy and sturdy. The sword came bent and is very flimsy. I was able to bend it back into a straight line very very easily. Shows the quality of the sword in itself. I can’t imagine this actually being used to cut even paper without it bending.

I waited over 2 1/2 years after I found this letter opener on Amazon before I was able to purchase it for my son for Christmas. It’s nice to see my 20 something son using a letter opener. It looks wonderful on his desk.

I am a huge Arthurian Legend fan and was super excited for this letter opener. It looks fabulous next to all my Arthurian books. I do wish that the edges were sharper like most letter openers ive had in the past admit works alright on envelopes but doesn’t do much at all for packages (I really wanted to use it in unboxing videos and such). The blade also bends very easily and I’ve had to bend it back into shape a couple times. It’s great for aesthetics, but not quite what I was hoping for.

It’s a pretty good looking statue and blade. The problem is the blade itself is intended to open letters. Meanwhile the blade is so dull it is essentially just tearing them open. Of the few letters I’ve opened so far, 100% would have been far faster and easier to open by just tearing them open with my hands.
10/10 for looks.
4/10 for actual usefulness.

This an amazing piece of art that is far and away one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. I can’t speak to it’s abilities to open letters, as that wasn’t why I got it, but as far as a display piece goes, it’s too notch.

The whole purpose for this was to have a cool letter opener holder and a letter opener. Now it’s just an armored arm. I opened the package expecting it to be intact, but it was a two piece set. Not really happy about this being a Christmas present. 👎

The size and quality for the price is pretty great. I set my expectations low and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Would recommend and will look at other stuff from the seller now.
