Great, thoughtful design. The extension feature of the legs on the stand are very helpful. The suction cup to fix the light on the back of the laptop monitor is great. I do wonder how long the glue on the suction cup will last. I imagine that over time, the stickiness will erode. Also, I wish the stand came with an adapter to hold my iPhone.

I really like this product and it’s easy to use and holds my phone really nicely. I was initially impressed with this product because it seemed heavier duty than some of the other products I looked at. After a few months of use, I found that I wasn’t crazy about how the tightening-crank-handle works (the small one that controls angle is fine, the other one that connects to the Mic stand is the problem), the sort of orientation of it and long arm are hard to quickly tighten down and then move and re-tighten again. I often would forget which way to turn it, because of it’s orientation and strange shape, and in my haste I tightened rather than loosening and sure enough, that plastic clamp part broke – very easy to do looking back. It has potential to be a really great product. but the main clamp has some design flaws… honestly if it was a metal clamp with a simple wing nut it would be 1000 times better, and I’m convinced the rest of the product would hold up to long and rough use. So, yeah, good product if you never accidentally turn the clamp lever the wrong way

I’ve been using this product frequently for a few months now. It’s still in great shape and compared to a lot of the other phone holders I’ve seen other musicians use, it seems much more efficient – easy to attach and detach from your mic stand and the compact design makes it easy to fit into my instrument case. Definitely a phone holder I would recommend.

I love it. It fastens very easily to a microphone stand and holds my phone very sturdy and very well as I do still videos where I don’t need to move the camera around. It still allows me to reach the buttons on the side and the finger print reader on the back of my Motorola phone.

Worked great for the first month (very flexible and secure positioning!), then the plastic grip you turn to fasten it to the stand, disconnected from the metal screw and it won’t fasten any more 🙁

I love this thing! I don’t have to print stuff out for band practice and shows. Easy to use and extremely helpful!

This mic stand phone holder is a great little piece of gear for musicians who take care of their equipment. It is mostly plastic except for a couple of pieces, but it feels fairly sturdy, is small enough to be easily storable, and attaches quickly and securely. I could see the plastic adjustment handle breaking if abused or over-tightened. One pro to the plastic construction is that it doesn’t weigh much. I have only used it twice so far, so I don’t know its long-term viability.

Still going strong after about a year of constant use. I still make sure to be careful with it, but it still works and looks like new after using it three to five times per week. The plastic concerns I mentioned before have turned out to be unfounded. It has given me zero trouble. Updated to five stars.

I’ve gigged with this attached to the mic stand. Forgot to take it off – band mate picked up the stand to put it in the trailer. I thought for sure I’m buying a new one. Got back to our rehearsal space and no worse for the wear.
This has to be one of the most impressive phone clips I’ve seen for microphone stands. If it breaks (and that’s a BIG if) I will repurchase in a heartbeat – Gotta love that buy again button – but something tells me I won’t be doing that for a very long time.

I use this item to both display lyrics on a phone when singing into a mic, and to hold a phone when taking video. It works very well for both in conjunction with a typical microphone stand. The spring-loaded phone holder does a great job, and it is easy to both put the phone in and take it out quickly. Be aware, though, that the threaded nut that secures the mount to a mic stand can be overtightened. I have teenage students who use this, and one happened to tighten it much more than necessary and it snapped the plastic tabs off. This was no fault of the product, but careless user error. I own three of these and love to use them.
